oh almost forgot....do you use a graphic tablet??? otherwise I donΒ΄t think it will be that easy but since youΒ΄re an artist yourself IΒ΄m sure you have one

Actually, no.. I can't stand graphic tablets.. maybe if there was one where i could draw right on my screen it would work.
I can't get my hand-eye-coordination to work when i'm drawing over to my right on a tablet but the picture is appearing to my left on a screen. Messes with the spacial thingies in my head
I use a trackball mouse to shade but all my work is pencil done and scanned/cleaned up on the pc

OK, first I apply the base color of course then I start shading (each tone on a new layer from light to dark). All I do is use a brush (a big one at first and then smaller and smaller to add the details)...well, so I just brush the hair with very fine lines (you see, no big secret
