Description
Name: BlueJayCategory: Villain
BlueJay is a cyberpath; she is able to manipulate, decode, and read the electronic communications from devices within her line of sight.
Her body is frail and her basic senses weak. She is very sensitive to light due to her thin, pallid skin and dilated pupils, exposure to which causes migraines that render her wholly debilitated. Her skin can be very irritating, especially when stressed, and the negative feedback of scratching at it is a horrible reminder of what separates her from 'normal' people. Partial blindness has led her to rely on the 360 camera feed on her smartphone for vision and her hearing is heavily augmented by hearing aids. She can use her abilities to send information directly to other earpieces or screens.
She was abandoned at birth and grew up without any caring guardians, shunned by fellow orphans for her frightening appearance she slowly grew her cyberpathic abilities as her human connections faded away.
By scouring through online anecdotal recounts and information leaks she learns of Raven Hill and starts communicating with the imprisoned Elijah. She is easily convinced to join his side, sympathising with his lonely upbringing and resentment of those who have been suppressing superhumans throughout their lives. Contact with BlueJay is how Elijah is able to keep up with the evolution of the internet during his years of incarceration access it to set up his master plan. BlueJay continues to work behind the scenes after Elijah's death allowing the spread of the footage to the public and fighting Staple's attempts to subdue it further. She plants evidence and manipulates records across the internet to dispel any notion that the superhuman events were faked. Whether the public believes in the powers displayed by David and Kevin or not, having gained the resolve to reveal her powers from Mr. Glass, she continues to demonstrate the extent of her own abilities and starts to unite superhumans from across the world.
Like Elijah, her morality has become severely twisted; allowing her to easily justify the death of humans that she has grown to consider inferior. She is devastated by Elijah's death as she admired and connected with his incredible intellect and has found nobody else she feels able to confide in.
What she plans next is unknown, though war against the anti-superhuman society seems inevitable.
Some extra notes: She has a soft spot for animals, especially birds since they seemed like the only living creatures that would treat her the same as the people surrounding her. BlueJay's are known for their ability to mimic other bird's calls and interrupt their communication to manipulate their behaviour.

She's a very creative character. I also love how well her story intertwines with the events told in Glass.
