I'd toyed with the idea of creating posters/banners for a Hawkeye TV show before, but only now had the motivation to actually follow it through to submission. This poster is an homage to the amazing cover art by David Aja, for Issue #2 of Matt Fraction's run on Hawkeye.

Pretty happy with how this turned out, as i had to stitch together a few photos of Renner to get the pose needed. I don't know much about archery but even i could tell that the Renner's form was pretty poor. So i straightened out his drawing arm as best i could, this was particularly needed as the dotted white line emphasised just how out of position his forearm was.

I'll hopefully be creating a few more posters and/or banners using some of the other covers.
