The Parallax View (1974)Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Went to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier on Wednesday night, and decided to create a Winter Soldier themed poster.
The Russo Brother have talked repeatedly about drawing inspiration from 70s political thrillers such as Three Days of the Condor, The Parallax View and Marathon Man. So I thought it would be a good idea to create a poster promoting the Winter Soldier using one of those poster designs. After seeing the original poster for The Parallax View, I decided it was the perfect candidate.
UPDATE (01/04/14)
After further research I realised that the poster i based this design on wasn't officially released by Paramount Pictures, but was in fact an excellent piece for an art exhibition by artist Paul Bruner.

Thanks, although i can't really take too much credit. This was based off an existing poster design for the film, I just changed the text and incorporated the imagery into the design.
