And here is Tasha's rival in the school, Midnight. Most of you aren't familiar with this older character of mine. She started out as Tasha conceived as a mage. But she long since has grown from that and into a variety of different roles. For the sake of [link] RPG, she is the "Naga" to Tasha's "Lina Inverse". The perpetual rival.

Midnight is the daughter of gypsies, raised a gypsy, and displayed incredible talents for magic at a young age. Able to weave illusions and seductive spells into her dances, she was considered a prodigy. By D&D terms, she's a sorcerer, with spells coming very much naturally to her. Given her background, she became the social butterfly in the school. She's beautiful and enchanting, and flaunts it. Her unique fur patterns (Midnight blue fur with silver stripes, and some silver strands amidst her normal coat, giving the impression of stars amidst her dark fur) makes her the center of attention. More-so since skunks are relatively uncommon in the RPG world.

So Midnight is used to being the center of attention. She gets what she wants, and is a spoiled brat because of it, and even then the guys (and some girls) still fawn all over her. She barely has to focus on her schoolwork, since the magic just flows naturally. Thus her tests are more like mini-stage shows where she adds all sorts of flash and showmanship to what she's doing.

So why does she hate Tasha? Because Tasha, despite not wanting the attention, draws attention away from her!! This nerdy girl doesn't DESERVE attention, in her mind. As such, Midnight goes out of her way to make the other skunk as miserable as possible. Pranks? Check. Cruel Jokes? Check. She'd do anything she can to insure Tasha left and never returned.... and she'd happily ensure slavers caught her if she could figure out how to get them into the city (She's good, but she isn't THAT good. Plus there's the concern they might turn on her). So for now, Midnight makes sure to embarrass and humiliate the other skunk as much as possible, and keep all that attention focused on herself....

Midnight focuses on Illusion and Enchantment spells, tho is very weak at Necromancy (the dead stuff makes her squeamish). She's one of the few casters that could be fully bound, head to toe, and still be able to cast. She only needs to see her opponant or her spell target (thus a simple blindfold would give her problems). She is VERY experienced in bondage and sexual games, and uses her own sexual "favors" often to influence people and get what she wants done. She actively fears slavers tho, since being a Gypsy means she prides her freedom at all times.... this goes for marriage too.

Lessons Learned - This one was actually pretty tough to do. I wanted a more "open" posing and aggressive stance. Jolly Jack and his bunny-femme Hillary actually helped me conceptualize her a good bit, especially that smug expression of superiority (I really love how that came out!). The rest gave me trouble, but I'm pretty happy with the end result, and the harder shading, open stance, and far more open outfitting makes her seem the polar opposite to Tasha... which was intentional.
