I'm really inspired by your approach and Eric Canete's. I want to start pushing my forms more since now I'm inking over myself on my book(The WEB for DC). I have more control over my art compared to someone else inking over me.

thanks! Yeah, I like to play around with contrast, thin lines/ thick lines, controlled lines/messy brushy chunks, large shapes/small, detail/minimalism.
In this case I thought it might be neat to emphasize his pipes with detail, and exaggerated anatomy.
