Nice and fleshy TD.
You are one of those few artists who's every post (be it journal or artwork) is worth looking at.
(Most of devart shit is not really that great, althought I don't need to tell you THAT, and I'm subscribed to all the wrong people)
whatever awesome, you rule, go you, you glorious faggot.

its funny how you got the Necromorph spirit much more across than Visceral did in 3 games.
You need to post more of these warmups, there's much more interesting things in your quick studies/try-outs i think.

Ey, I was inspired by DS 2 & 3 concept art. Pretty satisfied here, managed to reach a similair level of flair here.

Well for me warmup is something I sketch and work through really fast, like an hour-two at max, without a deliberate concept. Start out with scribbling shapes and then adding quick detail to it, to get the creative juices flowing.

If only one could turn your amazing art into models. You really manage to make some of the creepiest stuff out there!

Hmm, some would make fine miniatures, you could either get them printed or cast somewhere. I can imagine many people in the 40k market wanting that kinda creepy stuff.

I actually can turn them myself. But I don't have enough time to devote firmly to Zbrush simultaneously with 2D artwork. Maybe during vacations...

Would it be terribly out of the way if I used this as inspirational art for a DH campaign I'm gonna run?

Scary as fuck for sure, but if I must be honest, it looks less disturbing than the other two. Probably because the other two had those artificial addings on their bodies, like iron frames and cages piercing their flesh. In my eyes, it's basically a switch from a Silent Hill design to a Dead Space one (which isn't a bad thing, it's just an interesting change). I'd see this monster more fitting in a zombie movie/game, rather than a survival horror that tests your mental sanity.
Overall idea: a masterpiece in the details and design, good (read "scary") for a sudden encounter when you turn into a dark hallway, but a little bit less disturbing and creepy (compared to your previous works, that is).

Well it bears no relation to my cage-monsters series which I will continue, mind you.
This is direct Dead Space fanart, so it fits.
