mandlebulb 3d  is the program many of us use on da and many of the types of images are characteristic of the  tremendous diversity of fractal images inherent in the program; which in turn are proportionate to your skill in using it.  I'm still very much on the learning curve but many of my images are the result of experimenting with what you have already done and turning them 'upside down and inside out' to find other things of interest.   The latest update of the program allows you to even morph what you have done and see what other objects of interest show up.
There is also a navigation element that allows you to hybridize your images even more.   You can also create  meshes of these images and then transfer them to programs like Blender and diversify them even further;....as well, the program allows you to animate them also....quite intriguing, but  I haven't got that sophisticated in technique yet!  And you have tremendous flexibility in how you want them to look with greyscale, color parameters, lighting and reflectivity as well as shadowing.I go out looking and then name them accordingly in the way they impact me! It is quite fascinating, the program itself is free and I imagine you would love experimenting with it!

thanks
great description of your process
your choices of what to show are riveting and unworldly, a mix of biological and and geometrical forms flowing from a unworldly cornucopia, sometimes very beautiful.
will look st mandlebulb 3d, looks like a lot of fun.
thanks Terry

what I found was because it was some sort of zipped file you have open it and then extract the different elements that present themselves and you will notice a symbol indicating the actual program itself which I believe can then be dragged to the desktop or put in your taskbar where it can be readily opened anytime you want to use the program  You can also run a compatibility test to make sure it will work okay and that your firewall or security program allows it to run properly...….I have windows 10,...you might find that you may have to download it several times perhaps...…...hope this is of some help!
