Description
According to our Pokedex, our new Tentacruel GJKLFFZ looks something like this (but with more tentacles). Twitch Plays Pokemon, Gen 3 (13d 5h)Emerald Pokedex entry:
It lives in complex rock formations on the ocean floor and traps prey using its 80 tentacles. Its red orbs glow when it grows excited or agitated.

I think that the only way it could make literal sense is if Mew, who knows Transform and was once considered the true "original Pokemon," was the one that hatched from the egg and merely transformed into an Arceus-like form with one thousand arms... but other possible theories include that the "thousand arms" were metaphorical, either as a figure of speech or as representing an army of beings such as the Unown.
