They should've done that instead of remaking the original Movie. They should've done a complete Animated reboot and just fit everything in the same timeline and go from there.

It would be nice if something like that happened, but I still think remaking the original movie in live action was a mistake. If they really wanted to do a true remake, then make it like what the name is...literally remake it completely. Instead of it being a science fiction comedy with horror elements, make it a full blown science fiction thriller with comedy elements, from what I've read it sounds like a generic remake.

That's what it is, just with the main cast being all women. I understand the whole gender equality thing, but they're not doing this for the right reasons...they're doing this just to shut up the extremist feminist's which is for all the wrong reasons.

Lol now let me step down from the soapbox. Yeah, I have no desire to see this movie, and if I do see it, it'll from on demand because this movie screams flop and more like a ripoff from the original plot than a remake.
