Description For those who have played Portal 2, then (spoiler alert) there is one point in the game where the company, Aperture Science, at some point made dietary supplements such as Repulsion Gel (the blue stuff you bounce on) and Propulsion Gel (the orange stuff you speed up on) before those were recalled due to health concerns. So here's a hypothetical scenario: Midori becomes a test subject for a new supplement called olivine. Yes, the mineral olivine you can find in mantle xenoliths. Why is Midori in her swimsuit? Well, she's an otaku, she does it for fan-service. Anyway, olivine mainly has magnesium with a bit of iron as well and those dietary minerals were proven to lead to health benefits. Olivine also has silicate ions which, when mixed with acidic solutions such as stomach juices form silicic acid which was proven to reduce aluminium uptake and thus reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease. The idea was to eat only a handful of olivine (while a control gets a placebo) and wait a few days to see what happens. But Midori, while she is a prodigy, is still a kid and decided to play around by eating the whole bucket for funzies. Overdose aside, why would you not want to sell raw olivine in pharmacies? Well, they also have trace amounts of nickel, an element that's compatible with olivine and a known toxin. So it's very likely this would get pulled from shelves as well. Epic fail. (Cave Johnson later got lung disease from inhaling lunar anorthosite dust from making it into Conversion Gel which makes flat surfaces portal compatible and died shortly after).

Portal belongs to Valve while Midori belongs to me. Don't steal!

Thanks. But this is only a hypothetical scenario. Go play Portal 2 to learn more about Cave Johnson's inventions.
