Before Birth:

His father, then Blazingpath, and his mother, Stormheart, grew up together, though they traveled in different friend circles. They found each other's attention one night after a gathering, and when they were both assigned sibling apprentices, they grew closer as friends. After Blazingpath rather suddenly lost his father, they grew even closer, and after some of the dust had settled, they became mates. It was some time before Stormheart fell pregnant, as the two had been waiting and focusing on their duties, though she found herself expecting kits during a particularly harsh leaf bare. The weather would eventually take the remaining of Blazingpath's family, and after the birth, his mate and two first born kittens.

Kithood:

Despite his father being his own remaining family member, he was never short on care and affection. Blazingpath loved his son very much, and spent every waking moment with him. Sweetpine, his adopted mother, took great care of him whenever his father couldn't be around. Being the only kit in the nursery for a long time, he spent most of his time bothering the other warriors, never having known the sadness he was born into. When he neared his apprenticeship, another litter of kittens joined him in the nursery and he made fast friends with them.

Apprenticeship:

As an apprentice, he was given his father's former apprentice, Lightweb, as a mentor. Firepaw found he rather liked Lightweb, though he liked just about everyone. He trained hard, and most of the cats in the apprentice den he called a friend. At his first gathering, he found many new friends across borders, friendships he maintained throughout his training. Near the very end of his training, Coldstar, the clan's leader, pasted, and his father was named leader. As his first proclamation, he named Firepaw a warrior, giving him the name Firestorm after his mother.

Warriorhood:

Firestorm took to being a warrior like a fish to water. He is a hard working tom that maintains a strong relationship with his father and most of his clan mates. He would help anyone for any reason if they asked and is very protective of his clan mates and friends.
