Description
Two blades stand before you,Identical,
But not the same.
One the angel, who saved the world,
The other, the beast to blame.
Two brothers,
Identical in face and being.
One a man of fear and weakness,
The other of courage and strength.
When the weakness reaches a fault,
His love is shone through.
When the strength reaches the top,
His hate is shone true.
As the angel walked the paths below,
Through demons, and hell and fire,
The devil stands on theater shows,
Lighting the funeral pyres.
He says: “it is for good.”
He says: “it’s for the best.”
But alone his brother stands,
With a sword draw through his breast.
“Brother, why forsaken me?”
“Brother, I have one request.”
Please don’t forget the bond
We shared throughout our quest.
Please listen to my plea,
For I am forever in your debt,
Brother, I thank you, for you set me free,
And please never forget,
What all you meant to me.”
Slowly the beast faded,
Leavening the angel alone to weep.
He couldn’t help be d’graded,
As he continuously couldn’t sleep.
But change is persistent,
Though she too was in grief.
The angel was resistant,
And the healing wasn’t brief.
For long hours the angel stood,
Beside the other’s grave,
Cursing, as everyone knew he would,
Wondering why he couldn’t be saved.
‘Till change came to save him,
The angel lost his way.
For the future was grim,
Still, the angel took up his sword and prepared to save the day.
Alone, he took his plight.
But in his trail was followed,
By his friends to join the fight.
Inside the angel, hollowed,
He was blinded by the light.
Engulfed in such a brightness,
That few will ever see,
A light with such a rightness
That none could ever be.
Not only did he see the beast,
His brother dead and gone,
But six others who’ deceased.
The battle raged and when it finally dawned,
The Angel,
A trickster,
The blessed,
The cursed,
And a widow
all stood side by side.
Beaten and battered,
But so filled with pride.
The evil was slain,
By the devils they create.
Seven sons died not in vain
And wait at heaven’s gate.
Two blades stand before you,

That's very good. What is the book series? I'm curious now. Oh, btw, you should read it again aloud and make sure all the words are right. For instance, in the first and last stanzas I assume you meant "but not the same" as opposed to "but no the same." Just wanted to let you know.

Well, it is my story named the seven sons . Basically, it's a sci-fi/adventure/ romance series about how a group of people have to kill the seven keepers of a demon and take the shard to keep him from raising himself to rule the kingdom once more.

"My story" as in you wrote it? If so that's awesome! Is there any way I could read it? As for the typo, no problem. You should try reading it aloud. You have no idea how often I have that problem.

yes i am currently writing it, i have a few select parts written out now, and the hwole plot is set, but it's still in progress.
