Ugh, this took me forever Q-QThis is a set of custom 'taurs' for ~The-One-True-Koneko : and otter, a spectacled bear, and a kudu.

I keep clicking on this because I want to see all those beautiful details closer. Lovely set of characters, especially the kudu. Great unique animal choices, I very rarely get to see a spectacled bear around here. Brilliant anatomy. Something seems a little odd about the otter, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Keep up the excellent work.

I never draw bears so I'm surprised it turned out this well XDDD
It's the angle - the otter half is turning left and the human half is twisting right. By the time I noticed it was too late to fix XD

Bears have very interesting anatomy, you should be proud that you did a good job. They are creatures I probably need to draw more as well.
Since I tend to respect your opinions and insight, I'd like to ask a question. I have a few spare creatures floating around in my head and was thinking of putting them up for 'adoption.' The thing is, I tend to make characters more than designs. Do you think a developed character would appeal to people or would they rather have just outside looks? Thank you.

I really love how roly-poly they are, but in a different way than cats. They're more solid which actually makes them a bit easier to draw ^^
I think that they would, yes! From recent personal experience though, I would recommend some sort of hatching adopts since they pique interest. You could even do a recurring theme like I have - I use chrysalises for eggs and each adoptable has some sort of butterfly wings. After all, people love surprises~ c:
And as far as 'developed' goes, try one 'egg' adopt as a test-run. You'll soon find out how much of a backstory people like when adopting - most like to customize their OCs at least a bit.

Bears have always seemed very human-like to me in their movement and expression. I can see the resemblance to cats though, I'll keep that in mind next time I try to draw one.
Hmm, not sure I'll try the egg on this guy, but it sounds like a good way to keep people interested. Yours did look beautiful. I believe I'll cut down the history a bit and just give an overview of the species. Thank you so much!
