"Trick...or...Treat"

Jason Macendale Jr. Ex-Mercenary that worked as bodyguard for Roderick Kingsley and acted as test subject for modified goblin-serum and also one of few body doubles for Hobgoblin 'till he was stopped by Spider-Man and arrested. After getting out of prison he started his new supervillain for hire -career as terrifying "Jack O' Lantern", that tortures his victims psychologically before slashing and slicing them for real.

At first i was really relucant to even bother drawing Jack O' Lantern because, lets face it, in comics he was just yeat another Green Goblin-esque, lame villain tossing pumpkin shaped explosives and wearing awfully impractical pumpkin helmet. However, after some thinking, instead of Goblins, i decided to make ol' Pumpkin head to look more like a creepy slasher villain in spirit of beings like Michael Myers, Jason Voorhes and Ghostface. Instead of huge pumpkin, his mask is much smaller and looks more like turnip (kinda like in original folktale Jack's spirit used carved turnip as lantern). Also as a little bit of mythology gag i made his "poncho's" colors look like Demogoblins cape.

Despite looking like he is wreathed in flames like creature from hell, he actually just uses some leftover holographic SFX's from Mysterio (installed by Tinkerer) to give him scarier look. Despite special effects, his weapons are still legimately lethal.

I obviously got some serious inspiration by the Wolf from Puss in Boots: the last wish, which was somewhat fitting since modern Jack o'lantern does indeed use scythe as a weapon.
