personally i animate in firealpaca!! really u can use any program with layers like,, to do hte movement you gotta just like draw key frames AKA the most important parts of an animation like for example if ur doing a blink animation for keyframes you would do like eye closed, eye half open, eye open. then you go between the layers and do tweening or in-betweening and draw in the frames between each keyframe!! you should do it so that there are 12 frames per second, or 12 fps- although if you hate yourself you could do 24 fps, which would be smoother but a lot more work and really is only necessary for bigger movements anyways. so like if you wanted the blink animation to last for 1 second then u would do 12 frames in it, so like the three key frames and then 9 tween frames and then you can put it together in any video editing program like,, tbh u could even use windows movie maker (i would suggest 2.6 if you do)
