A story from the view of a Avalanche soldier combatant:

"I never believe in such things as gods, angels and demons until I join these people 10 years ago, at first it was just criminals, madmen and terrorists... then the crazy stuff started to appear... about a 6 months go some crazy demon worshiping cultists manage to open a portal in a remote place in New Mexico... they took advantage of the many none english illegal immigrants and trick them making them believe they will help them taking refuge but instead they were nothing but cattle stock for these cultists... many of them died as sacrifice to open a Hell portal to our world... Team Avalanche responded to the emergency as soon a they were reports of hording demon attacks to a few small towns near in the area, I w as one the first responders and my God the massacre was bad, they have manage to kill over a dozen people at least folks in those knew how to defend themselves with their guns and keep the demons at bay.

Then we manage to find where they come from, a heavy hill area that it was like a labyrinth, as we saw the place we notice this was the right place, the satanic symbols were everywhere, skulls and bones human and animals were put in place, it was horrifying not even middle east extremely zealot terrorist were this bad and they killed children. Then we got our first encounter with some hordes, small creatures and we kill them but that was just a patrol over 50 of those things... after that small encounter the a bigger horde attack and it was devastating, we lost a dozen people and many more got wounded and injured, but we endure and won. Even those Cuchisaurus join us with their battle armor suits and weapons and they weren't enough.

We manage to do blockades and the Avalanche leader in charge Omar O'Reachlling manage to use ancient words or tongues to "purify" the blockades to keep and keep us in check, for many months we hold and we got horde attack after horde attack... each one more powerful then the last one, Omar knew then that the portal couldn't be close by it's own, too much innocent blood has been spilled and the cultists curse this place... the only way was to go there and seal it ourselves... but the men were not in the mood to attack, the demons terrified them, Omar was a good man, a good leader and a very powerful superman with strong faith but he wasn't going to this alone... then it happen... the Highwind Team Avalanche's airship a flying fortress appears from the skies and jumping out of it a figure that we all saw before landed like a angel from the skies... it was him the Main Leader our organization... Peter Johnson, he and Omar salute themselves like old friends talk about the situation and how grave it was.

Then Peter walks to a big rock, look at all of us left and right... he saw men that where fatigue and filled with doubt and mental exhaustion, almost broken, low spirited from the horrors they have seen for the last few months but enduring for the sake of people and their duty.

Then he spoke:"Soldiers... member of Avalanche, I understand how you feel... your spirits are broken, your bones are broken, you have plenty of wounds and scars in both body and spirit... but I have good news... today is the day then we will end this, if any of you don't want to do this anymore it's fine I don't judge you... you people already have done the impossible, you have hold this blockade for months and I respect that... since I been there too exhausted, broken, wanting to give up, but yet holding because the right thing to do." Then every man, woman and even those cuchisaurus join the bunch, something was going on, then he continues:" I will not force you to join since I don't believe in needlessly sacrifice, you have done enough... but if you want to take part of this one and final assault it will be done it's fine by me, just to give a extra mile... were not doing this for glory or to be famous... we are doing this because this what we do... this what God allow us to be here today and all that I asked is if you can fight do it if you don't stay here and pray, but if you can't just pray... since God is in our side today and we will go the heart of this demonic place and destroy their Hell Gate!" his voice tone was vibrating, it was getting loud, something in me was feeling spirited up, feel with energy as he continues:"God made men in his image, He is the powerful being in the Universe and it's Creator... and those vile, evil beings are a threat to destroy our lives... we are not religious, we believe because we know He exists and today we shall stand against evil right at front lines and repeal them by kicking their sorry asses back to Hell!!!" Many men stood up and listen, suddenly the feelings of exhaustion both mentally and physically, the gloominess start fade away... even I feel it... it wasn't from him but it was going from him... it's just hard to explain then he continues:"So my fellow soldiers, my battle brothers, my friends... let's fight!!! LETS FIGHT NOT FOR OURSELVES BUT FOR THOSE WE FIGHT FOR!!! WE ARE WARRIORS WHO PROTECT THE WEAK AND FACE THE STRONG, WE GATE KEEP AGAINST THE FORCES OF EVIL AND OVER ALL OUR MIGHT DOESN'T COME FROM OURSELVES BUT FROM GOD HIMSELF THROUGHT US TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT FAITH IS USEFUL, THAT FAITH MOVE MOUNTAINS AND THAT FAITH CAN CONQUER ANYTHING!!!" Then we start to cheer loudly and then I saw it... The Dove as we call it... the Holy Ghost... I never saw it in my life but I saw it, it was over Peter head and Peter took his giant sword points the way to the enemy and shines... I never believe that such thing could happen, outside of a church or a prayer meeting or any of that stuff... I was experiencing true faith!, then Peter shouts:"SO LET'S FIGHT MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!! TO THE HELL GATE!!!"

Then we march to the labyrinth, with no fear, no weakness, no doubt, we knew we where gonna win and the demons knew it many of them start running like cowards, they were afraid not of us, but it what was inside of us, we shoot those who dare stood in our way, we manage to free the last few captives and we manage to get in to were the Hell Gate was... we fought against horrors but their were no match for us, even the powerful demonic creatures big as buildings were taking down by our weapons and just like that the Hell Gate crumbles and breaks, Peter then stood at the top of the rubble and put his sword high and yells:"GOD GAVE US VICTORY!!! VICTORY!!!" And everyone cheers and that was the end of that.

After that experience I was never the same... well ish, I still do many things I like to do, I was just more good and kind to others and stop smoking all together, not sure why evil thing happens, but I know this a fallen broken world and the only thing a good man can do is try to save as many people we can, some will be grateful, others will not, but saving lives is worth it anyway and after that I am more willing to do it so help me God."
