Nowadays desktop stands pretty much for something related to computers. I highly doubt that such term will ever come close to a real desktop, such as this one that was in the Casa Milá ( La Pedrera ) of Antonio Gaudí in Barcelona.On a side note: while Gaudí was a genius in the architecture field, I for sure would not like to live in this particular house. The reason: the house was incredibly warm, much like the wooden houses of old, even on a not so warm early spring day!

Thank you! I have always had a liking for against the light shots, and for how old places look like. I feel that only when you look at it in that way, do you really see how things might have been back then, or at least you get the feeling that you honor and bring them to life! Sometimes it is as simple as an old typewriting machine, of which for example, I did use them for writing quite often! I'm sure that you saw some objects that we now consider "old" in your childhood: nice!
