Description
There once was a church built in Ireland, whose levy was lowest in 'e island.
Rafa gathered two coins,
went to one of the loins,
and captured on film this earthly upland.
St. Mary's Cathedral, Limerick, Ireland.

You have a cool symmetry here, which is stirred and brought to live by the asymmetric lighting. I like how the chair picks up the shape of the arch, and also the decorated, knobbly look of the chandelier above. Your perspective makes it look as if the church was built for the sole purpose of housing this chair ;]

well, in a way, this chair or the altar by itself is the main point of attraction of all churches, so that was also what I wanted to emphasize in this photo! And kneeling down gave this effect perfectly (complimented by the light, which you so nicely noticed and made me aware of
).

It took me a little time to come up with it, but in the end I think it wasn't too bad!
Back in the days of high school, they taught us about Limericks and back then I had a lot more imagination and along a friend with whom we liked to write funny texts (we worked on the school newspaper together and also before, had our own small and limited edition, hand made, newspapers), we put a lot of effort into limericks and did some real nice ones! So, I really enjoyed trying to come up with one that would also tell the story of the photo and go with the title... and the place where it was shot!
Thanks for the kind words!
