Description
First, I have to thank Simmeh for making the glorious Hans Spice edit and inspiring me to do a comic strip version!I've always loved the randomness of these commercials, lol! I was also looking for an excuse to try drawing a shirtless Hans, as I don't have much experience with drawing bodies yet and I know some of you have wanted to see this.
T'was a good challenge.

Seriously though I love how you draw shirtless Hans (apart from the obvious)- that looks pretty much how he probably would look- muscular like he makes damn sure he is but very small in the hip (which may be half the reason his package always looks oversized) and with sloping shoulders- also that very fair skin, just slightly fuzzy, and those freckles! I love how you distribute them realistically and how you get that subtle mottled effect of seeing his skin at a distance. And you got some great Hans expressions into this one too! He's That Man and he knows it!
oh and it's funny too. (I assume he doesn't smell of horse when he's doing this. Or at least managed to wash all the dung off since we last saw him...)

Thank you for the feedback! I had a few good references to look at (including the original Old Spice man) but still had to figure out how to make it him. I think the freckles worked well too!
And yes no dung smell here!!! I was wondering if more people would point out the fact that he's smelly like Kristoff now too lol!

Thank you so much for starting all of this ahhh! So fun!! The commercial is PERFECT for this kind of comic. The magical changes, and how we can scroll down to see he's suddenly on Sitron. I may just have to do another one them someday.
This took around 15 hours over a few sessions, even with the re-used panels. Another thing I love about digital work. It would take me an incredibly long time to draw out everything in every single panel traditionally. This allows me to get the jokes out there in a decent amount of time.Β
