I know. That's the only thing I have a problem with in Sonic games, that being no Tails.

I know that. What I don't like is that they force you nowadays to pick a character and go. I like Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, but if I wanted to play as Peach I would play as Peach. But they only give you Sonic or Mario. SA had it right, except for the unlocking part, but SA2 had you forced to complete everyone's missions. I hate playing as Tails in SA2. He's in that stupid machine, when he could do the missions perfectly well himself, and they're so hard that I want to stop playing.

Yes, like they used to. Unlockable characters don't really entice me to play a game. I don't like having to unlock the characters. Levels and stuff I don't mind, but if I get a game I just want to use the character I like. And I think they should stop putting Blaze in games. It's not that I don't like her, it's that I think they're pushing her too much.

yeah, if they're going to make a select & go game, at least make it so you don't have to unlock characters. and about blaze, i don't really like girl characters anyway,they just don't seem to fit into the sonic series to me. (no offence if your favorite character is a girl

I think they're just adding too many characters is all. I understand that they need to add things to keep it fresh, but they don't add just one. They add two or three at least. And there are way too many hedgehogs...Sonic, Silver, Shadow, Amy Rose, Scourge, Manic, Sonia, etc...

Well, I would like playing as Eggman, but they only put him in that darn bot. I think they need an Eggman game, where we can see what he's thinking, and his motivation for trying to kill a hedgehog for 20 years in a row.

And there's another thing. They have to give a certain character there own game and have to put the other characters aside.

They really should, but they won't, because people complain about it(eg how we're complaining about Tails not being playable in Sonic Generations). Also, alternate characters is a draw in games these days. Having only one character cuts down on replay value.

That picture is only fanart...I read the issue with Metal Tails in it, and what happens is Eggman turns himself and Snively into mechas so they can defeat Sonic and Tails. Aliens abduct all of them and they change Sonic and Tails into Metal Sonic and Mecha Tails, and change Eggman and Snively back. They tell them to fight and whoever wins gets to go back to their original forms. Long story short, Sonic and Tails win and Snively and Eggman get stuck with the aliens.
