Stan Lee passed away this week A lot of people have been asking my opinions, how I'm feel'n, and I haven't really said much, or posted anything regarding the loss to one of my childhood heroes. I know a LOT of the artist community are illustrating pics of Spidey, the FF4, or Stan himself. It's a great outlet, wanting to homage such an incredibly inspiring person.

When I had first heard the news, I stopped working on my commissions to draw this Illustration. See, Stan Lee pushed the idea of creativity so much, that as a child, i would keep trying to make my own heroes, my own stories, and in the end, my own comics. I love writing, but I also love Drawing ,making comics the perfect form of media for me. So for the passing of Stan Lee, I drew a character from my comic. But not any random one, and not even a main character. For those of you that follow me on my social medias, you have most probably seen this character before, her name is Michah(pronounced Meekaw). She is a student in my comic blithe(pronunciation rhymes with scythe).

I first invented Michah in 2002. She was little doodles and sketches in my pads, and eventually once attending an art school, she became the character I used for my animation projects, along with SOOO many more things. Basically, every time we did caricatures, and so such, I would use Michah. But back then, she didn't look anything like she does know. She used to have short purple hair!, she still had poofy paws and calfs, but they where yellow, along with her yellow kitty tail(now her tail is a scorpion one, coming out of her head! lol). Her personality however...that never changed. She is a super outgoing, motivated, strong personality type, that has the ability to change clothes in a microsecond!, and that could range from futuristic armor, to a ball room gown. Over the years, I developed my comic blithe(started in 2006) and added her into it as one of the students. Her design changed as well as parts of her background and culture due to my growing creatively. Michah has become my mascot in life, representing my comic, as well as almost acting like a secretary of sorts for so many of my social medias. Though she doesn't have a strong roll in my comic at the moment, she is definitely carrying it with all the promo art I do of her, I even have my Wife cosplaying as her for conventions.

I love action stories, I draw hardcore transformers, however my comic is a solid "slice of life / romantic Comedy". It will have some action in it at one point, but for the most part, it's all about young extra terrestrial adults and their first day of school together. I have already put in 12 years of my life on this project(stop and go) where the last 4.5 have really been dedicated to it. It is funny, unique, and above all else creative. Stan Lee had always said to push the boundaries of creativity, and as such, I try to every single time I work on my comic, and beyond. So drawing Michah was the only thing I could think of, that made me really happy, hoping Stan Lee would appreciate my doing so
