Thank you for your interest.

---------

As soon as I had peered down between these two buildings very close together, it made me think of this concept right away. So writing this, did not come difficult. Putting it all together, was fun.
------

We went to Tubac, Arizona a town a little way outside of Tucson, which is known for it's artsiness, in all matter of genre, crafts, etc. There were so many artisan crafts here, and galleries of many kinds, and I enjoyed myself greatly! The setting of this small town was also beautiful in and of itself, so the whole day was all around an enjoyable experience.

This was from my annual trip to Tucson, Arizona- 2008,
first time via bus and train. It took a while.

Beautifully written. Amazing background image.

We do really need so little in life, and it takes so little to give and in return we get so much back!
....love, joy and happiness

I like it. Makes me think that all we really need is just enough, not all the wastefulness and excess we seem to want.

nice, but it wont do for me, i hate small spaces. i like big wide open fields, thats what i need, in fact, i could do with that right now, im not breathing too well at the mo. arrrrrh, (the power of suggestion)

TeaPhotography In reply to Samcatt [2008-12-30 02:09:06 +0000 UTC]

Trust me, wide open fields and more "actual space" in the sense you are talking about is definitely better, and healthier as far as being able to physically breathe, etc. And I can definitely relate to your comment!

I mean in this sense, I definitely LOVE wide open fields and this is certainly why I am out in Nature as often as possible when I am physically able to be out in it, and sometimes, even when I'm not, I will do what I can to just BE in it.

But this visual poem is more metaphorical and philosophical... it's not really as literal as trying to fit and stay in a space as tiny as shown above- it's about figuring out and learning how to survive and even be okay with having very very little, and making a life under severe living conditions.

's

poetry is easily so subjective, and interpretive, of course.
