'Cause goodness knows our heroes deserve it.
xD This wasn't meant to be a Kwami-swap, but it sort of looks like it is. Except for the fact that Mari's wearing the earrings, of course. But yeah, I just wanted to draw a quiet moment with these two that wasn't necessarily romantic. It's fun to draw more platonic stuff, even between two characters that I ship. ;3
I also enjoy incorporating the 'if I fits I sits' cat nature of Plagg's. xD I think I've finally figured out Kwami anatomy.
Any comments/constructive criticism would be most appreciated!

First - I want to lead off that I don't know these characters so hopefully I don't say anything "dumb" in regards to that. 
Immediately, I gotta tell ya... this is adorable. 
Constructively I would comment on the couch itself. Compared to the rest of the piece (including the couple's clothing) it loses detail and definition. I understand having a light source, etc. But perhaps some other touches would have made it stand out less? Because right now, the bright shade of the couch and its lack of definition draws focus. I would suggest perhaps making it a couch with buttons in the cushions? That way you can have an array of shadows that will add more definition. Also consider changing the color of the couch.Β
Your overall color scheme works very well for the mood of the scene - but making the couch a softer shade of pink will help redirect focus to the couple themselves.Β

I will just say for future reference though, that even though you were intending for this to be a platonic picture, it doesnβt look like one at all. I donβt think βjust friendsβ sit that closely together, especially with that blanket draped over the both of them.

I disagree, if you are close enough with that said 'just friend', I do think that you can get away with this. It depends on the personally of the people; in Adrien's case, I headcanon him as more of a touchy-feely person, 'cause of lack of love from Gabriel, and Marinette's always seemed a bit clingy as well. So I can imagine that both of them would be perfectly fine with platonic cuddling with people.
Plus, as someone who's done things like this with my siblings, I can tell you it can be 100% platonic. xD Some people just like to cuddle, and some people don't care that much about personal space.Β
That being said, I only meant for this to be more of a platonic instance, not that they weren't a couple or weren't well on their way to becoming on in this image. I just wanted to draw a picture of a pairing that wasn't necessarily romantic, since not all moments in a couple's relationship are going to be romantic, especially if they are as close friends as Marinette and Adrien would hopefully be. So if you want to see romantic undertones, that's fine. ;3

Hey, you should write for yourself! If you write something, and you like how it came out, who cares if others read it? If it brought you joy, that's all that matters. It's a bonus if it brings a smile to the faces of others, but not a necessity.
