There is no particular reason why Red is in the Sun and Moon outfit. I just wanted to draw him in it. xD
I thought it would be fun to do a wallpaper-type thing with the four Kanto protags of the Pokemon Adventures manga. I also wanted to try out doing this color-tinting thing for all of them, and I think it turned out pretty nice.
And yes, I go with the Japanese names for Blue and Green, since it's just easiest for me to remember their names based on their actual eye color. xD

'Cause he's one of the Kanto trainers? And 'cause is often used as one of the 'primary' colors in many areas, such as art.
