This is for . I really hope you like it! I haven't really attempted to do a forest background that's snow-y before, so it was an interesting experience for me. I don't think I did it perfectly, but I'm also happy with how it looked. I'm also really happy with the fire, and how that turned out. :3

Hello! I'm from ProjectComment 's Comment Tag! My word assigned word is "colour"!Β I chose this piece because the blue colour really stands out in the rather monochromatic and dull palette (save for the peaches and yellow eyes!).
First of all, I really like the fire, it looks so vibrant, yet wild, being here and there. The random scatter of them is a good touch. I also like how you did their faces and colour / shaded skin.
Next, let's talk a bit about the fire. Fire is not easy to draw, and I can't really draw them either-
Anyway! Fire generally has a base, and it spreads outwards from it, similar to the ones you did on the lower half of the canvas. The two on the top left, on our left side of the characters, it doesn't seem to flare out from the base, and doesn't really look like fire.
I can't say much about colouring-wise, but if it's fire, fire glows and emits light, so the characters should have lighting where there are flames instead of shadows (pants, skirt), and maybe a stronger touch of blue glow as well. I noticed there are subtle touches, but seeing how bright the flames are, I think it's OK to have stronger and bolder lighting (think about when someone lights a candle and how the candle light would tint one's face yellow-orange?).

Another thing is anatomy. It might be stylistic choice, but the grey / white / silver haired character's arms are rather short compared to the legs. Anyway, one think I'd like to point out is how thick her neck is. Compared to her shoulders, her neck is lengthy, giving the shoulders an appearance that it's very small. The shoulders also droop rather low, enhancing that illusion. In my opinion, everything else is rather skinny compared to the neck.

I think with the arms, it might be the way that I bent her arms? I often struggle with the 'bending arm across stomach' position. I'll try to look up references for that next time.
Mm, yeah, I seem to have a problem with necks. xD I actually don't think it looked that bad on my draft before I put her hair in, but I think having that hair there really doesn't help it. I'll def check out the references and keep your tips in mind! :3

For her arms, I feel like I wasn't able to interpret it correctly, that I was having many doubts on how to comment on it. If she was holding her side of the stomach, I feel like that fist is a bit too tight or too tense as well (doesn't look relaxed).
I struggle with necks a lot too actually, so I agree as the sketch looking better, but then again when does the sketch not look better than the final? If there's a clear image among the mess, it really does seem to show something good ahah-
