I'm not good at drawing tears, but I wanna be, so I'm gonna practice until I am good at it. :3

Some spoilers for both Voltron S6 and S7 in this description, so readers beware.

So, I actually had this idea towards the end of Season 6, but I just never got around to drawing it until now. xD So bear in mind that this is supposed to represent what I feel their mental states during and after Season 6 would have been like. Both of them had their hearts smashed in a sense of the word during this season, and while I think that Lance's were probably deeper than Allura's, it doesn't change the fact that they were both hurting.

This really isn't meant to be shipping picture, btw, just my representation of their heartbreak.

That being said, Allurance has grown on me hello to any other multi-shipping trash out there somewhat since S7 (though trying to find good content for it without sifting through a bunch of discourse is near impossible at the moment, VLD fandom why). It's still not my favorite pairing for either of them, but I'd be okay with it being end-game. That being said, if this is the route that the show is planning to go down, I do hope that we get a little bit more of Allura's side of the relationship. Sure, it's been probably at least a year before they got out of the quintessence field and she's had plenty of time to get over Lotor, but getting over one guy doesn't equate moving on to another, especially one that she never really showed that much interest until this point.

The show isn't about romance, of course, and never has been, but I am curious to see what they'll do with it - if they decide to do anything at all with it.

I'm still sad that they made Lotor a bad guy tho. ;-; He had so much potential to become a shounen hero. And he and Allura were adorable.

That's why canon divergence and AUs are a thing. xD

Also, please, if you hate the pairing, that's fine, you are entitled to your own opinion, but don't yell at me about it in the comment section, especially 'cause this picture isn't meant to be shipping. I've seen enough hate towards this show of late to last me a lifetime. So do me a favor, and don't be a jerk. Keep your hate to yourself.
