Description
As the first of my practicing drawing ponies, I went with my favorite pony - Twilight Sparkle.I have no idea why she is my favorite; she's just grown on me as the series as progressed.
In any case, I'm actually really happy with how this has turned out, considering that when I usually go for a 3D style it usually turns out rather weird.
I'm especially happy with her wings. :3
I might add a background later, but at the moment I'm just happy to have her done. xD

This is for the Comment Tag game on . My tag word was "eyes." So many works in your gallery fit this word, but I chose this one because it stood out to me the most. I'm not a follower of My Little Pony, but I still like this picture because of the colors and especially the great details. Twilight Sparkle's eyes are really nice--they're so big and shiny and they stand out against the darker colors in the rest of the picture. She looks cute but at the same time fierce and strong; her eyes look like they're glaring with concentration as she gets ready to unleash her magic power from her horn. What stands out to me even more than her eyes, though, are her wings. Those detailed feathers were what grabbed my attention while looking through your gallery, in fact. I also like how you drew her mane and tail and how clear the strands of hair are.
To improve this piece, what I would do is make the outlines on the rest of Twilight Sparkle's body a little more clear, like what you did with her wings. Also, I noticed that the pink streak on her mane on the left looks a little stiff--it doesn't follow the curve of the rest of the hair in that part. In all, though, this is a very nice picture and I can tell that you put loads of time and effort into all those details.

Thanks for the tips; I hadn't even thought of the things that you pointed out. Hadn't even noticed that the streak in her hair looks stiff, so I'm glad that you noticed it.

Thanks! I think I probably need to look a picture of bird's wings or something to figure out how the feathers are supposed to be placed, but I do think that it didn't turn out too bad.
