Mmm. I really like how pieced together this looks, and I'm almost certain my first impression was not what you intended. The subject, probabaly yourself I assume, looked like a black man, during the twenties, the depression or somthing and the surroundings gave him this whole story. And he played jazz and was broke and wearing the only thing he owned, which is pretty-god-dammed nice to be that. And he's waiting for the next job where he can play out his soul on his trumpet, and the blocks of color around him are the chaos and beauty he's stuck in. But I guess not, haha. Oh well, I really like the cinder block and the pin on the hat.
