Originally I was going to make her a sorcerer but she looked better with a huge axe than a staff.
I love how this looks~
I'm putting 'critique' on this because I would love to hear what you guys would change to this.
(and yes, I know the hand sucks hardcore)

Gotta say. This is amazing. I was shocked when I clicked on it because it looked like a render from the thumbnail. Nice work. If I have to say anything about it, I'd say it looks like she's leaning forward a bit. Maybe that's what you were going for? But if not, you may want to ask for crit on your sketches before you begin to color. The color looks great though

Huh. Never noticed that she looks like she's leaning forward before you pointed it out. Haha, I should of payed more attention to her pose then her overall look >_>'. But, that is a good idea. I think I'll try to get more crits for my sketches before I do the final product.

Hey no problem. It looks like I didn't mention it before, but a huge, huge tip that I do all the time that helps with that sort of thing is this: flip your image over. If its a paper sketch you can use a mirror. That will help you kind of see your picture through new eyes. Because when you're drawing things yourself you tend to get too familiar with them and not notice obvious mistakes.

That is very true. I used to do the whole fliping the image over, but I usually find myself getting insanly intpicky at every little detail that is slightly off and I usually take a couple more hours to fix every little issue D:.
I think I might do it again.

i love the way you drew the face! the eyes and shape of the nose are cute 
i think since there's no apparent line-art to this piece, the background just makes the character blend into her surroundings. try changing the color of the background to make it stand out more.
