I'm the biggest CHRONO TRIGGER fan out there. Here's my desktop. Everything is CT, from cursors to icons, to background. If I had that program I used to have on my old computer that can record .wav files from CD, I'd use my soundtracks once again to make it full of CT sounds for different things. But I can't. That computer sucks and has 95 for its OS. I can't use my flashdrives or anything to extract that damned program...Related content

Not only is CT the best game ever (IMO), I just realized it probably has the best & most accurate box art of any game, especially for the era it was born into. When I look back at the box art for games back then, they range from bad to terrible to completely off the mark, but this is dead on. First of all it\'s drawn by the same artist that illustrated the game. It depicts the characters perfectly, even the monster shown is in the game. Even the magical attack being performed is in the game. In fact, now that I think of it, the monster shown even appears during the snowy mountain area (Death\'s Peak was it?). Best box art EVER.

actually, there's a few flaws: for one, that monster actually appeared in a different area, in the cave near medina village where you jump down the whirlpool to go back home. also, i think it's strange Marle is using fire, when she was ice element. then, on top of that, the coat she's wearing isn't her costume, yet the others are wearing their proper costumes. but yeah, compared to the time, that's nothing.

Yeah but that monster appears again after that cave. I definitely remember that it appears on the Black Omen, & I thought I remembered one on Death Peak, but I could be mistaken. Marle using fire is a definitely mix-up. As for the costumes, I always just assumed that they were supposed to be in their winter gear.

well it's not Yakra who reappears, it's a different monster altogether. The one they're showing is Yakra, due to his colors. And he's in the dark age, on Mt. Doom, in the pic, which he wasn't, in the game. And yeah, maybe it is supposed to just be winter gear but still!

Wow yep you're totally right. Marle (pictured) was Ice, & Lucca was fire/bombs. So even though that move exists it would be Lucca tossing the fire at his sword.
See they never get it right!!
