The answer is quite sad actually: The G1 ponies were released in different years. The ones released in one year did not get released in the next, and the ones that did were released in a different version.

Year One ponies were never in any show. Year Two ponies were in Escape from Midnight Castle. Year Three ponies were in Escape from Catrina. And Year Four and beyond were in the TV show.

That's why you see Firefly, Applejack and Twilight in Escape from Midnight Castle, but never in the TV show or in Escape from Catrina.

Majesty was released during Year Two, but before Escape from Midnight Castle was released, and was never released again later (she only came with the Dream Castle set, and never sold separately. And then Hasbro discontinued the Dream Castle and released Paradise Estate, which was featured in the TV show.) Neither did any of the other "Playset Ponies" (Ponies that were only sold along some other toy)

Majesty DID have a big role in the UK comic, where all ponies from every year were featured.

That was ALMOST the reason.

While I couldn't find any evidence of Majesty in Rescue at Midnight Castle or Escape from Catrina, there WERE plans to feature Majesty in the 1986-1987 cartoon, probably as a main character and with the same personality as in the comics. Evidence include a writer's script that was found a little while ago, and she's listed as one of the ponies to appear. Speculation as to why she never appeared include her castle being given away and her "motherly" personality conflicting with Megan's "motherly" personality. I couldn't find any official reason, however.

It's a shame she was cut out of the cartoon; she's one of my favorites.

GREAT NEWS, I managed to find the script, and it's a writer's guide; however... I can't provide the link because the script is broken into individual pages. If you want a look, type in "G1 My Little Pony writer's guide," and you'll get the pages. (I used Google) Some pages were featured in "forum.rpg.net."

Anyway, I talked about one of them having Majesty's name; two pages I found talked extensively about the characters "Magic Star" and "North Star," so it is possible that another page talked about what Majesty's character was (I couldn't find that page.) Another page gave us info on what Megan's full name was, "Megan Williams." Another described the show it was supposed to be, a fantasy-adventure series with "soft" adventure (oh sure they were). However, it gets strange... it mentions that kids were into the show "Miami Vice" for some reason. Interesting...

Oh well, tell me what you could find if you could find anything else.

I did say it was a while ago and I'm having issues finding it, BUT the evidence can still be found. Be warned, it's a picture of the script. I'll try to find the script and link it to you; if I can't don't be angry with me.

(I hope he doesn't attack me for this) In Al1701's follow-up to his MLP series review, he does feature the script when he mention's Majesty, and does talk about it a little. The script is opened to the list of characters and in the section labeled, "The unicorns," Majesty's name is listed there. She's listed with the Unicorns that were kind-of stars with the series, so she could have been a star as well.

As far as I know, I didn't find any episode drafts featuring Majesty. The script is also dated as November 8th 1985, which, I guess, was shortly after Escape from Catrina's completion. Perhaps they planned the MLP series to be released sometime before the movie?

I think the symbol was Saturn but I am not sure. I don't remember her glowing in the dark either =O.o!=

I think her hair was white. Her horn was cute. My sister cut the tail off my orange, winged tropical pony =!_!= She's the only one I still have. I had a weddding pony too. White and lavender coloured with a veil.

blue with orange hair huh? Can you describe her anymore? Did she have diamond eyes, do you remember her symbol? There were very few old MLP that fit that description....I'll definately find out for you though! I also want to thank you on commenting on all my other pieces!
