Description
studies + half assed shadowsThe kingfisher is quite a bit older, about the time I submitted my first kingfisher.
edit: ugh the colors are all off again, the kingfisher looks way more vibrant on my screen. Somebody explain to me how the whole web color-thing works.

These studies look real nice. Gj!
About the values, colors and such. It sounds like you have a problem with your monitor calibration. I have had problems with that myself. This link might shed some light on the matter: [link]

Der molch sieht in wirklichkeit viel besser aus, aber wenn man das original nicht sieht gehts. XD
Und die vorlage zum bild vom reiher, ist total schΓΆn, ich musste einfach versuchen das zu malen.

Thank you, wish there were more details, especially on the poor neglected somewhat naked looking elefant.

The legs and head is beautiful. The body yes does need more character but It doesn't need it for me to find it beautiful.

These looks great. I love the textures and realness of them all. Especially the newt. I had one almost exactly like that, and even in the art you can tell how slimy it is.

Thanks a bunch! When I read your comment I wondered what a 'newt' is until you mentioned slimy. XD Btw you've got a lot of great pets. A friend of mine used to have newts at her fountain and when we were young we caught them and played with'em. Since then I adore them^^

Welcome They're surprisingly good pets. I thought it'd be pretty boring to have one as a pet, but I enjoyed it a lot.
