Really adorable. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

The sharpness of the fur contrasts very nicely with the soft curves and texture of the tube as well, and the darkness inside the tube provides great contrast to Oscar.
The main problem that I can see with this is the lighting. It's so bright in some areas it's distracting overall, and takes away from the piece more than helps it.
If you could tone down the brightness on Oscar and the edges of the tube, I think it do amazing things for the photograph, as long as you managed to keep the contrast between soft and sharp.

Thank you so much for your input!
I'll definitely bring the brightness down a few notches and re-post.

It's darker, but I had to darken the whole thing instead of just the bright area of fur.
Suggestions on better photo software?

What software are you currently using?
And that looks really nice. The sharpness on the other side of the little guy is lost though. :<
I know that with Photoshop you could make one (the original) an overlay layer, and play with the settings, you should be able to get good colors and sharpness without losing details that way (I had a really good website about how to do it in my bookmarks, I'll try to find it... it was about playing with aperture and fstop in the camera settings, but I think the same principle applies... it was about brightening something without losing details).

Currently, I'm using PaintNET because I lost all my precious Corel software in the last computer wipe.
It made me a sad panda, and I've been on the search for a good program ever since.
