Here is a pen sketch I've been working on since last Friday. At this point I've gotten nervous to add much more to the drawing, but I'm satisfied with the results. This literally started out as just randomly placed lines and dashes. I was going for grungy and all, but didn't expect it to involve fetuses so soon. This is pretty much the state of my mind on most days. /: Let me out of here, damn it!Related content

This is cool! Kind of a Circle of Life type of deal, but a bit more creepier than anything Disney could cook up.

Yep, probably worked on this one for weeks. I liked the illusion of values it created, but boy was it experimental. I think it worked out alright.

this is great. A little painful, sure, but there's vibrance, consciousness--that means there's hope--a possibility that it will get better, a chance to make things better.

Well, art is open to interpretation. Maybe you're right, maybe I'm right. Art conveys emotion, so at the end of the day, I'm just happy if my art evokes an emotion or thought. I do try to look in a more optimistic light whenever I can. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Like any of my drawings, yes, they're open to interpretation. That's the beauty of art in a way. Don't remember what it was I was trying to convey, but I think I was going for somber and mysterious. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Yeah, I tried to use various patterns to create the illusion of values and depth. Honest though, I'm still new to pens and ink so there's still a learning curve.

I think this piece is quite fascinating o.o
I love how you can discover something new the closer you look everywhere, at some places it feels like this vase-face-drawings, where you can see something while looking at it the one way and in the next second it changes into something else...
I am not sure, maybe there should be a bit more detail on the bottom, although that could also mess up the contrast...

Yeah, there's still room to learning the tricks of what works and what doesn't. The details are supposed to great value/contrast, and the be the honest by the time I got to the bottom, I was nervous about screwing up, so I just left it that way. This drawing started out as a strange mountain like thing and ripples of water along with some randomly placed squiggles. Funny how your mind sometimes paints the picture together.

Reminds me of some of the grungier frames from my flash cartoon, except so much better and thought out. I am playing up the horror factor right now. Because I want to give you all nightmares.
