a beggar on a good location (they are sold by a special mafia in most cities) earns more money than many jobless...
a beggar in norway is a rich man in estonia.
in most austrian cities begging in the streets now is forbidden by law (enforced also by socialdemocrats)
- which is a shame for all.
...
on a higher/deeper ground not the beggar but the perople who give have to be grateful: a possibility to earn merits for afterlife (christianity, judaism, islam, hinduism and buddhism preached for centuries)
