By observation, my guess would be that the base layer was drawn first, then 2 more layers of rather rough shading were applied per brush, then one lighter. Then reflection was added using the lightest blue brush.

If anything, I think the shading could be applied finer. The brush lines are very obvious the way it's now. Kinda like speedpainting, but not quite.
