Well, it has been some time since I've submitted anything to DA or even signed in to my account - The band is probably getting signed this month and I've been so busy managing that, fundraising for charity, any number of things that have distracted me - However I'd like to become an active DA member again.Anyways, here's something I did for some RE homework that I thought I might as well submit seeing as it's just about the only thing I have on the PC. I sketched out a basic manga character, scanned her in, used the ol' pen method to ink her in in Photoshop then used the airbrush to shade in the flat colouring done with the brush. Yeah, the special effects suck, I know she has no feet (Not great at manga) Don't ask what happened to the hands.... Ugh.... Well, this took me 2 days to do, so I didn't really want to do it all again to correct it - But I'd like to do more of this kinda thing (This is my first digital inking).
I'll submit the sketch in my scraps.

if your going for an abstract feel, you deffenitely accomplished it while keeping it recognizable. if not, then she's missing some feet, her head's way too small, ribs too big, and hands arms are like a fruit twist.
but, even if it wasn't done intentionally, i like the abstractish type quality that is presented.

Thanks so much - I wasn't going for a very realistic feel... But I noticed the arms looked like the result of a rather large car crash - I'll plan them out a bit more for my next piece!
