Well it's a invader zim fanfiction called the Deep End about my OC named Nix. I have several drawings of him on here and in the group. Anyway it's a AU that is slightly more twisted and disturbing than the regular IZ universe and the humans are much smarter. It's about Nix being abandoned on earth since he ever opened his eyes due to the fact the tallest wanted to save the snacks instead of Irken smeets. He ends up on earth and escapes the prison he had been contained in for 30 yrs called Iris, a paranormal facility. He soon encounters many problems with cruelty, life and many other things. My character is supposed to befriend Dib later and the rest well you'll have to read. The pictures and characters I draw are things that will happen in the future.

It is in a way, considering I got the idea from a dream, LOL. And I made sure my character is definitely devoid of any Gary stewness, GOSH I CAN"T STAND THOSE. Sues just make me want to tear out my hair and scream but it's still in process!

there are good oc's but they start out good and then they start getting TOO good and then the become mary or gary sues

You're right but it's the matter of making them become too heroic and liked. My character for example, he has a mixture of confusion, hate, anger and fear. He isn't perfect and is no hero, he is like any basic Irken, a little smaller than usual but otherwise the same. Through all this it's best to slowly develop a type of trust into the OC before and some flaws but everything has mary-gary sue traits. But it best to try anyway, I had to ask if my OC was to gary stewish but he turned out well rounded so fair. But it's best to hope they don't turn into any sues.

Yeah i see what you mean by that. my character is not necessarily good... or even liked and it is kind of hard to find a good story line. some people tend to make their story WAY to dramatic and then it just ends up not worth reading

Good point, I'm not really fond of too sappy or fluffy stories like those.
And I've been though all those amazing stories but they soon just become really stupid, it's like the writer ran out of ideas.
If you do make a fanfiction there are beta readers willing to help out too. So there is lots of support if you want it and alot of people make stories together over the internet.
