My first art posted on here in almost a year and its of this awesome plankton character (which I have to admit confounded me at first until I did some more research ahaha)

SS for as part of 's annual SS event which i was almost sorta kinda kicked out of ahahaha*cough* (yes, i am dubbing it an annual thing Snowy. it has come to this)

Character: Foo Fighters from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

At first when I saw the wishlist I didnt have a clue what I was going to draw, but this girl/ uh, plankton-technology symbiote thing really caught my eye for both the hair color and the fact that plankton was mentioned, haha. You see, I'm a marine science major and plankton are actually one of my larger interests. I even took a whole class on them lol I decided then that I'd draw a combination of diatoms (which are phytoplankton) and some dinoflagellates (which are zooplankton) as part of the bg. I drew so many of these guys last year, it was insane. I thought I was going to go blind after looking through the microscope so much.

Anywho, I hope you like this Nishi. I had a lot of fun drawing and painting it. And for once, I'm actually glad with how something came out. Merry Christmas~

Unfotunately I lack a scanner right now and had to take a photo instead. I tried my best to get the colors as accurate as possible but it's so tough with traditional things. Like, that bg should be pure white...but it isn't. I'm going to see if I can get a nice scan done when I get back to my scanner in a couple weeks.
