I finally attempted to try something more like hair instead of quills. It was insanely hard to do. I had to look at a lot of sprites to get an idea of how they were made. But i think this is a good step into making better sprites. Im making a sprite sheet for this character, hence the reason the rest of his design is extremely simple. (im changing those damn lame shoes tho) Anyways, yeah, that's all i got to say. hope you like what yah see. .3.^Related content

Hrrrm. Well, the hair looks okay! It gets the job done well enough. The palette definitely lacks just a little bit of contrast - it's very slightly hard see the shading on the x1 sprite. Overall though I like it.
