That's obvious. If Slaanesh chose to manifest itself to say, "Kroots" or "Vespids" it would choose a form most appealing to them.
However, the artist was attempting to depict the classic "canon" Slaanesh (else why include ANY of the canonical identifiers) and that has an established iconography, just as the other chaos gods do.
