I was just telling another author that working with kids has opened my eyes to how harsh we are on ourselves as we get older. I was floored when I first started because my students were constantly complimenting me on things that I am pretty sure I am actually terrible at. But kids just see something that they like or think is way better than what they can do, and they say something to recognize it. Just because they can. It put in perspective that openly admiring things in others that strike me costs me nothing and makes everyone's day brighter. I really do look forward to seeing your creations!
