On most drawings that's what I do for shading. I try to keep the sketches as clean as possible and by showing shading that way instead of actually shading with a pencil there's vastly reduced smearing.

Is there another meaning for "chakra" that I'm not familiar with? I'm thinking the points along the body which one passes energy through to accomplish a particular magical feat.
