8 Inch tall portrait. Made from cone 10 reduction fired porcelain.To make this piece I first sculpted the body and face nude as a doll, and cast it in plaster. I made several molds with my own casting slip, and added hair, clothes, and refined the features.
Will probably do many of these over time.
Was featured at California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts in the Diablo Valley College gallery.
