(Super Sentai Vs Power Rangers)

Every franchise starts somewhere, by a beginning, and every beginning has its first main protagonist, who no matter how much time passes, will continue to have relevance in the series and will be remembered and honored whenever possible in a special.

-Tsuyoshi Kaijo and Jason Lee Scott, The first two Reds of Power Rangers and Super Sentai, in turn, the first protagonists, two young leaders of a team of five members (well, 6 if we count tommy) casually in blue, pink yellow and even green is introduced, experts in martial arts and chosen to protect the world from an evil emperor who wants to conquer the earth, doing poses and summoning combinable mechas.

-Although their series has ended, they have not left the franchise, returning whenever they can to help the new generation of rangers.

Personally I think it's a very good choice for both, maybe is best MU.

I like Ichigo Vs Akaranger, but Captain America is also a good choice for Ichigo, with Jason, Souji is good, but this one seems better to me.
