I had a free day after submitting my draft, so I made a phone background lol.

Thank you <3 The texture is from one of the default dry media brushes in designer.
Are you asking about Designer or Photo?
Designer I started using at work (still do) for asset creation. Would 10/10 take it instead of Illustrator, even if you don't count the fact it's a one time purchase with lifelong updates, where Illustrator is expensive and subscription based. Adobe needed a good competitor for a while
As for Photo, not too sure yet, only used it for this piece, so like what, a few hours of work? It's quite nice, you can also import Photoshop brushes directly and the fact you an open the same file in both Photo and Designer doesn't hurt
Mainly the thing that bothered me is the different shortcuts for brushes, layer and canvas manipulation. There are options for some shortcuts, but I couldn't find the ones for these specifically.
The other one was the fact that the alternative for the clipping mask didn't work for groups, or at least I couldn't find a way to make it work

I switched to Designer myself! It's great for what I need and haven't looked back!
I'm looking forward to trying to Photo trail period and seeing what it's all about!
Hopefully, there are some tutorials you can find for your shortcut troubles! When I get stuck in Designer they usually already have an article and a video up about just how to solve my problem!
