Description
An Unexpected MoveWhile Quicksilver continued to battle and race Dash, the two moving so fast they could barely be seen, Elsa and Anna were left to fend for themselves and the still knocked out Scarlet Witch against Mr. and Mrs. Incredible along with their daughter Violet. Elsa’s ice abilities were only as effect as she was creative while Anna could only threaten with a few dirty words and some strong threats even she knew she couldn’t back up. The response of course was the mind-controlled super family used all they had against them and proved to be more than a threat.
While Elsa had managed to freeze Mr. Incredibles legs to the ground before needing to fight off Mrs. Incredible’s stretching limbs Anna, finding a shovel nearby, said “Don’t worry, Elsa! I’ll get-OOFFF!” She’d run into an invisible bubble, stumbling back before looking around in confusion. “What the heck is-?” A sudden slap across her face before she shouted “Hey!” Another slap before she tried swinging at the invisible Violet only for more hits to be landed on her. “Elsa! A little help, please?” she called. Thinking fast the ice queen used a free hand to send a freezing air, making the area cold enough for Anna to see Violet’s breath. After a good swing of the shovel sent Violet on her back, making her visible, she called to her sister “Got her!”
“Anna.” the queen called. “We need Wanda’s help. Try to wake her up!”
Anna nodded before kneeling down, shaking the mutant witch awake. As she did she didn’t see Elsa already being ganged up by both Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, one holding her body together in entangled, stretchy limbs while the others had freed himself and was ready to give a severe, possibly fatal, beat down.
Thankfully, at the last minute, the Scarlet Witch had awoken in time to see what was about to happen. A quick use of her powers and a stream of “mind magic” struck the two. They screamed in pain while Elsa was freed, quickly reuniting with Anna and Wanda, before seeing what her spell had done.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Incredible rubbed their heads and shook off whatever was controlling them, the later asking “Wha…What happened? My head feels like a balloon that just popped.”
As Mr. Incredible cleared he looked at the odd people in front of him, asking “Who are…?” He then saw his daughter on the ground, gasped, and then looked to them with an angered eye. “What did you do to my daughter?” he demanded.
Anna bashfully admitted “I hit her with a shovel. But hey! I only did it because she was attacking us like the rest of you were.” Seeing he was still angry she shrugged “Guess that doesn’t make it much better, huh?”
Before he or anyone else could do anything they heard Violet moan as she got up, rubbing her head with her parents comforting her and asking if she was alright, to which she said “I feel like I had a brick in my head. But I’m okay.”
Seeing she was free from the control Elsa asked “How did that happen?”
“Sometimes the best way to get a person’s mind back in order is to give it a good smack.” Wanda shrugged a reply. After that she looked around, not seeing her brother, before using her coms to say “Pietro, where are you?”
Through the sounds of fighting and zipping air in the background she heard him answer “Dealing with our little scarlet speedster friend. Have to say…he’s not bad for his age.”
“Try to lead him back here.” She suggested. “I can free him like I did the others.”
From his end Quicksilver replied “On it.” Before saying to Dash “Alright, my little friend, time for something you’ll never see coming!”
Now fighting on the freeway, buzzing through traffic and cars at super-speed, Quicksilver and Dash tried to outrun one another while the former tried to furry the former back to the shipping yard. They zipped and streaked in the blink of an eye, often managing to throw a punch or kick when the made contact before going off again. Some people had seen and were perplexed by the blue and red streaks that passed by them, all the while Quicksilver silently praising how talented the child was at his age. But Quicksilver knew a few tricks of his own.
After finally managing the upper-hand the mutant runner began to lead the small speedster back towards his family and the cure for his madness…

From his cell Thrawn could hear the commotion of the Helicarrier under attack by Ultron’s forces. From the sounds of gun fire and explosions to Fury and Agent Hill calling over the ships speakers about where the soldiers on the inside needed to be or what damage they were taking. Like the trained, cold militant mind he was the Grand Admiral of the Imperial forces simply sat in his cell, patiently waiting.
A moment later he could hear blasts from outside his cell. A gun fight ensued and the sounds of soldiers engaging Ultron-Bots echoed in the halls. Thrawn barley batted an eye as he could already guess that the bots would succeeded. A moment later the sounds of fighting stopped and his theories were confirmed when Ultron himself stepped into view in front of the cell.
Looking at the advanced robotic menace in front of him Thrawn huffed “Not quite the recue party I expected. But it’s better than nothing I suppose.”
[Do not let this act encourage you to think I do this out of kindness, organic.] Ultron said as he reipped open the cell. [Thanos requires your tactical knowledge as well as every ally he can gain for the final assault.]
Thrawn hummed with interest before smirking “Get me out of here. Then tell me more.”
From the command deck as Fury and his agents tried to gain control of the situation he saw and pointed out “Dammit! Ultron’s got Thrawn! Any other bads news I can get today?”
A sudden violent shudder shook the ship before Hill replied “Sir! We lost power to the third turbine and the auxiliary power’s been depleted!”
Fury gave a deep, heavy sigh of annoyance before calling “Everybody hang on! We’re going down!”
As the Ultron-Bots drew back, their prize now gained, the Helicarrier began to tilt and drop out of the sky. The readings Agent Hill had gained at least indicated they would land in the ocean, given their position, but the rate they would dropping would indicate too violet a crash for them to survive.
As they were coming closer to the surface Fury said to all nearby “Gentlemen, it’s been an honor.”
As they all feared this was the end suddenly they heard over the coms “So what does that say about the ladies, Fury? Not an honor but just good company to have?”
Hearing it Fury replied “Stark!” He laughed a little and added “Always know how to make an entrance.”
“And a rescue.” Iron Man added, flying neck-to-neck with the Helicarrier. “Hang on! I’m going to re-route power into the turbine. Brace yourselves!”
With Fury leading everyone inside and Iron Man using his armor’s power to reignite the turbine, the combine efforts had managed as planned. With Iron Man using his armor’s weight to keep him steady he was able to help fire the turbine’s long enough to even-out the Helicarrier. It was just in time too as the power allowed them to flatten out and hit the water smoothly instead of crashing. When the Helicarrier landed they looked and realized that the pirate ship of the Black Pearl was nearby, Captain America and the other Avengers onboard with Jack Sparrow and his crew cheering for the saved Helicarrier.
“Nice work, Stark.” Fury said over coms. “I owe you one.”
“Actually four point million for the batteries I’ll need to recharge the suit.” He replied. “But we’ll just keep it on the tab. Now…can someone help fish me out?”
They realized all the power exertion had taking out the main fuel to the Iron Man suit, leaving Stark floating on the water. After he was saved and the Avengers, along with Jack Sparrow, made their way onto the deck of the Helicarrier, they showed how they had retrieved the Power Stone from their mission.
“Some good news at least.” Agent Hill replied. “But Thrawn got away. No telling where they’ve taken him.”
“Don’t be too sure about that.” Fury said before explaining “The blue boy thought he was smart. But he didn’t count on that steak I gave him having a secret indigent: nanite trackers.” He pulled a small device, showing it was a tracker with Thrawn’s position, before saying “Call it an old, family recipe of sorts.”
“At least now we may have a way of finding Thanos and the others as well.” Cap pointed out. “I suppose we should work on repairing the Helicarrier before trying to regroup with the others.”
“Hope they’re having as much fun as we are right now. Huh?” Ant-Man poked Falcon with his elbow.
Falcon only huffed a smiling reply “If you call catching a giant ship put of the air ‘fun’ I don’t want to know what you think boring is.”

The dogfighting between the Slave 1 and the Millennium Falcon had brought both ships closer to the surface of Endor’s forest moon. Both Han Solo and Boba Fett proved how skilled pilots they were as they tried one trick after another to shoot their enemy out of the sky. Even with Aladdin on the turret the Slave 1 wasn’t an easy target.
As close as it seemed between the two the table turned with the unexpected arrival of the Milano, Star-Lord helping to fire the Slave 1 from the sky. Their arrival was a moment too late as the Slave 1 managed a good shot to the Millennium Falcon’s thrusters before crashing in the distance. The Falcon began to crash as well, Han and Chewbacca doing their best to make the landing as smooth as possible while those on the Milano watched helplessly.
“Chewie! Try aiming for a clearing!” Han called. The Wookie roared and he responded “Then try to find some soft trees to land on!” As Aladdin rejoined Jasmine and the others in the cockpit Han then said to them “Everybody hang on. This isn’t going to be pleasant!”
The Falcon continued to skid against the tops of the trees while fighting with the busted engines. The Milano followed before Merida had pointed out the Falcon was heading for a cliff. Even Han noticed too little too late as the Falcon soon dropped down, its nose pointed right for the ground below with no real way of stopping itself.
As everyone onboard closed their eyes and waited for the inevitable crash something stopped them midair with a violent halt. Everyone fell out of their seats before looking out the window to see what had stopped them. The Vision had flown up and caught the ship with his hands, his superior strength and his hardened exterior enough to slow the Millennium Falcon from crashing while he did he best to lower it softly to the ground.
Seeing this the crew looked among themselves before looking to Han, he only response being “See? Had nothing to worry about.”
From the Ewok village nearby the little furry natives of Endor cheered and blew trumpets in success of their “god” saving of the starship. The other Avengers hurried over once the Vision had helped the ship to land safely on the ground; the Soul Stone secured in Hawkeye’s duffle bag in the meantime. They’d arrived just as the ship touched down and the Vision fell to his knees to regain his cybernetic strength.
“Nice catch, Viz.” Wasp praised as she buzzed over.
“First the Stone and now catching a ship.” Hawkeye pointed out. “You’re on a real roll today, Viz.”
He looked up and nodded “Thank you. Though if we continued to keep score I will have beaten you several times over.”
“Was that a joke?” Hawkeye pointed. “Don’t do those. You don’t do those.”
They watched as the hatch of the Millennium Falcon opened before Han and his crew exited. All of them gave quick, odd looks to the assembled heroes while they’d done the same for both the oddly dressed couple of Aladdin and Jasmine as well as the large Wookie accompanying them.
“Are you all alright?” Black Panther asked despite all of this.
Han nodded “Yeah. Thanks.” Gesturing to Vision he said “That’s a really advanced looking droid you have. But how did it manage to fly?”
“He’s not a droid.” The Wasp said, startling Han to see he was speaking to a small woman with wings. “He’s….well it’s a little complicated.”
Han waved it off before asking “Any of you guys happen to know these two? They’ve been ‘displaced’ thanks to a bunch of crazy mumbo jumbo involving these magic stones.”
The Avengers perked before Hawkeye replied “You could say that.”
He nodded to Vision who, after finally regaining his strength, picked up the duffle bag nearby. He opened it before revealing the Soul Stone inside, Han, Chewbacca Aladdin and Jasmine all surprised by how beautiful yet dangerous it seemed; even to Vision warning not to touch it.
“So that’s what all the troubles about.” Aladdin said. “Looks valuable though.” Jasmine nudged him with her elbow before he said “What? I just mean it looks pretty.”
“I take it Doctor Strange had contacted you all?” Panther asked.
After Han confirmed this he said “Anyways I should be thanking your friends in the other starship who saved out tails back there. You know them, right?”
“Sort of.” Hawkeye replied before the Milano began to land nearby.
Everyone watched as it landed close to the Millennium Falcon, Han saying how eager he was to thank the one who helped shoot Boba Fett out of the sky. When the hatch of the ship opened the first one to emerge was Rey, immediately seeing Han in front of the group. She didn’t even bother to look at anyone else, only the younger face of a friend long gone in her time. Without thinking she ran up, tears brimming in her eyes, and embraced him as tightly as she could.
Confused Han looked around at everyone, no one really knowing who she was or why she was so glad to see him, before he softly returned the hug while saying “Uh….hello to you too?”
The others watched as the rest of the Milano’s crew exited. The Guardians of the Galaxy along with Merida, Stitch and BB-8 all came out as well, the two superhero team of the same universe recognizing the other out of the rest of the assembled group.
“Star-Lord.” Panther greeted. “It is good to see you again.”
“Yeah, yeah. You two uh…. Black Leopard was it?” After Panther corrected him he nodded “Right. You know it’s funny, after we picked up these guys” he gestured to Merida and the other displaced individuals “I had a feeling we’d run into you somewhere down the line.” After that he looked to Vision and asked “Uh….is that an Infinity Stone?”
Panther’s only response was “We’ve a lot to talk about.”
Meanwhile as the heroes all spoke and greeted one another, some being introduced to the others for the first time while Ewoks were gathered around at the odd scene before them, they were all being watched. Only barely managing to escape the crash of his ship Boba Fett carefully sat and waited. He recognize the Infinity Stone the group had and knew to try and take it when the times was right. If he was lucky then maybe he’d be able to kill Solo when he had the chance.

The battle for Asgard had started to turn in favor of Thor and his fellow warriors. While the Imperial forces were great in number they did not fully match the power and superior steel of the Asgardians, able to cut through even the hard exteriors of the Imperial Walkers. And at the head of their forces Thor summoned his powers over the thunder itself, striking down entire forces while managing to bring down one the Star Destroyers.
From her cell onboard Darth Vader’s ship Black Widow could hear the fighting outside. There was no way of knowing how close she was to her friend and fellow Avenger, Thor, but she could tell that whatever fighting went on outside was not in favor of Vader’s men. A moment later she could see as several Stormtroopers were escorting a familiar but surprising face past her cell.
“Bruce?” she called. “Bruce? Is that you?”
He looked and said “Natasha? What…? How did you get here?”
Widow tried calling as he was forced to keep walking “Bruce! Don’t get angry, please!”
He was unable to say more as he was forced to keep moving down the hall and eventually out of sight. Widow watched and banged her fist against the wall before seeing as Darth Vader walked past as well. He stopped, sensing her anger and confusion, before turning to look her in the eyes.
“Whatever you plan to do with him, it won’t work.” She warned Vader. “You can’t control him.”
“I’m well aware of that.” Vader replied. “But I do not want him controlled. I want him unleashed.”
With that Vader left Widow still trapped in her cell before following Bruce Banner and the Stormtroopers to one of the hull doors of the Star Destroyer. The door opened and one trooper held Banner out, leaning him halfway in and halfway out so that he could see there was over a hundred foot drop behind him. He looked around and tried to stay calm while seeing the battle raging on in Asgard. He looked back as Vader approached, still managing to keep his anger in check.
“I won’t fight for you.” He spat at Vader. “I’ll die first!”
In response Darth Vader reached out and used the Force to choke Banner, saying “It doesn’t matter. I don’t need you. I need the Hulk.” He continued to choke him while lifting him off his feet, out into the open air and kept him floating just in front of him. As Banner’s eyes now began to turn green Vader simply ordered “Now….destroy them.” Before dropping Banner below.
As he dropped from the sky Banner felt him losing himself. There was no way to fight it now. No way to quell it. The Hulk was about to be unleashed.
It was Banner who fell to Earth and crashed near Asgard’s boarders. A moment later it was the Hulk who picked himself out from the dirt, giving the loudest, angriest roar he could indicating his arrival.
Upon hearing this Thor, shocked, said to himself “By Odin’s beard….it can’t be…”

The crack in reality that Qui-Gon’s ghost had shown them brought Spider-Man and the Big Hero 6 to the open Pridelands. The group had taken a moment to see they were in a savanna-esc area before realizing they needed to look for the Infinity Stone that was supposed to be here.
“Where in all this place are we going to find it?” Wasabi asked before hearing a lion roar in the distance.
“Let’s just hope nothing ate is by mistake.” GoGo commented after hearing it as well.
The group only looked around for a moment before Baymax pointed [I am detecting an unusual energy source. There.]
He pointed to a small tree nearby where, upon investigating, the heroes found a Stone sitting in a nest among a clutch of eggs. Spider-Man was the one to identify it as the Space Stone careful to pick it up before making sure it did not send him or anyone else somewhere they didn’t want to be.
“Now what to do with it?” Spider-Man asked.
The voice of Qui-Gon answered “Now think. You know how its power works, Spider-Man. Use it to take yourself and your friends where you need to be.”
“And where exactly do we need to be?” he asked before hearing Qui-Gon whisper something in his ear. “Really? That’s where we need to go?” After it was confirmed he said “Okay, guys. Gathering around. This may be a bumpy ride.”
One-by-one the members of the Big Hero 6 gathered around Spidey before reach putting a hand on the Space Stone. Once everyone had Spider-Man focused on the place Qui-Gon told him to be and hoped it would work. Sure enough the Space Stone began to react, sparking and glowing with power. An energy from it began to spread out and engulf each of the heroes, Fred commenting how he had an odd tickle coming from it, before all of them suddenly snapped out of the Pridelands and disappeared.
When the heroes all reappeared they were in an odd study-like room. Spider-Man knew where they were, thanks to Qui-Gon’s lead, but the Big Hero 6 at first through they were in some large mansion; maybe another owned by Fred and his family. The odd relics, tapestries and other unusual objects quickly queued them in that they were not anywhere “normal”.
They all looked as Doctor Strange, standing nearby, had smiled “Ah. Good. You’ve arrived just in time. Wong’s brewing a lovely batch of tea. I think you’ll need it after the trip.”
As the heroes got to their feet, Spidey greeting the familiar face of the Doctor, Hiro asked “Where the heck are we exactly?”
Strange answered “Well the area itself is a little hard to explain. This house itself however is the Sanctum Sanctorum. My home.” He looked as Baymax had the Stone in hand, saying “Good. My friend managed to lead you down the right path to get here.”
“Your friend the ghost you mean?” Honey Lemon asked.
When Strange nodded, Spider-Man asked “How do you know him? What was he, the last Sorcerer Supreme or something?”
“Actually he’s not from our universe. Much like them.” He indicated the Big Hero 6. “Come. I’ll explain over tea.”
Doctor Strange brought the heroes to his study further in to the Sanctum where Wong was. As he helped serve tea to everyone Strange explained the events around Thanos, the Grandmaster, and how the universes had been altered and the heroes who’d been displaced from their homes; Spider-Man realizing he was one of them. He further told of how the other heroes of the universes, like the Avengers, the Jedi, etc. were all searching for the other Stone even now.
“Wow.” Wasabi said after hearing all of this. “And I thought the worst we had to deal with was crazy guys in masks.”
“Tell me about it.” Spidey replied.
GoGo then asked “So how did you and that Qui-Gon ghost meet?”
“He found me, here, in the Sanctum.” Strange explained. “He explained how his universe has a power simply called ‘The Force’. It’s what’s kept his corporal form intact even after death. It has spilled into the other universes, like ours, and had allowed him to see all that transpired. Including the truth of these grave circumstances.”
“I thought you said it was just Thanos trying to control everything.” Hiro pointed out. “And then it all backfired into this.”
“True. But he wasn’t alone. The Grandmaster is a being who delights in chance and matters of luck over destiny. It was he who told Thanos of the other worlds and allowed him to test the power of the Infinity Stones to see the effect they would have on these other realities. Even to see how it affected their timelines as well. When these great displacements occurred the Grandmaster devised a new game involving all those displaced from their realities. Both he and Thanos have now set their pawns against each other in trying to collect as many of the Infinity Stones as possible.”
“Whoa, whoa.” GoGo began to sound annoyed. “You’re telling me this is all some big game and we’re stuck in the middle of it?” When Strange confirmed this she huffed “Always has to be guys trying to one up each other and we wind up getting the short end of it.”
“You think that’s bad?” Spidey began. “We have a guy who literally eats whole worlds just to keep his stomach full.”
Hearing that Fred replied “Whoa. And I thought I had a big appetite.”
Honey Lemon then asked “So what can we do?”
Doctor Strange replied “Simple.” Before holding up the Space Stone. “We’re going to set the game against them both.”
