Description The Turing of the Tide

In the Disney Castle, everyone who’d stayed behind was worrying about the others.

While Yen Sid still sat, heavily breathing, on the throne with Minnie, Daisy and even Tiana by his side, Meg and Phil were pacing back and forth, Ariel curled her hair nervously while she sat in her tub, Belle and Chip sat nearby looking worried while Jasmine tried to patted her shoulder reassuringly, while having the same nervous air about her, and finally Snow White looked out the nearby window, looking at the sky was starting to grow dark.

“They’ve been go for so long.” She said, everyone nearby hearing.

“To us...perhaps.” Yen Sid weakly “But...time may not...transpire....in that world....as it does this one.”

“It’s still nerve racking.” Tiana said. “Just sitting here....worry.” she gave a groaning sigh before saying “I just feel so useless.”

“At least you can walk around.” Ariel commented. “Or....hop around.”

Suddenly Chip gave a kind of quivering, shaking sound and said “Did anybody else feel that?”

“What, Chip?” Belle asked, holding him in her hand.

“I...I don’t know. But...it felt like something really bad’s happening.”

This made everyone else look around to each, all worried over this sudden thought or sensation Chip had. At first they thought it only his imagination but silently they all began to feel that same odd feeling too.

Minnie looked to Master Yen Sid and asked “What can we do, master?”

Yen Sid was about to answer but he stopped when he noticed Snow White, still standing by the window, with her hands folded and praying to herself. Minnie, Daisy and Tiana eventually saw this, since they were all closest to him, and looked a bit concerned by this.

“I think the Princess....Snow White has the...precise idea.” Yen Sid finally answered. “All we can....do is hope....and pray.”

“It feels great be big again!” Ursula boomed as she and the other super charged villains took in their new strengths.

The heroes, all packed into a group again, were still in shock by the sudden upper hand the Horned King had now that Alice and her amazing abilities were under his control. Some still stood strong while others looked more worried or confused as to what to do.

“Please tell me someone has a plan.” Aladdin said as they were all backed up into a corner at this point.

“Does waving a white flag while crying screaming for our mommies count?” Genie both joked and suggested.

Goofy panicked as he asked “What are we going to do, Mickey?”

He kept looking between each of the monstrous villains before him before looking past them. He saw as the Horned King still stood near Alice as she simple stared into the creations she made; Queen Grimhilde still watching with excitement from the balcony. That’s when he had an idea.

“We might not be able to be them but it’s not them we need to beat.”

“What!?!” Donald asked.

Mickey pointed one sword towards Alice and said “ We need stop it at the source. Get to Alice. Quick!”

Hearing this the heroes all nodded or showed they agreed before some rushed forward giving battle cries as they did.

“Finish them now!” the Horned King ordered his forces, making them charge in as well.

Simba found himself, along with Philip, Eric and Peter Pan, all surrounded by the monstrous Scar and his hyenas, that looked more like dire wolves at this point. Aladdin, who tried using the magic carpet, Genie and the Fairy Aunts tried to get to Alice but they were stopped when Jafar began firing spells at them, forcing them to divert in order to deal with him. Pete blocked the way of Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Taran before cracking his knuckled showing he was ready for them now more than ever. Finally Hercules, with Pegasus, and Adam had tried to make for it before being stopped by Ursula, who boomed with laughter as she brought on tentacle down to crush them.

Herc managed to catch and, using his strength, held it up long enough for Adam to break and jump up towards Ursula. He scaled her almost like a mountain before reaching her face where he managed to swipe his claws over one eye. She yelled in pain and covered it, all the motion forcing Adam to jump off. She toppled back a bit, almost crashing towards where Girmhilde and the Horned King were.

“Careful, you fool!” Gimdhilde screamed at her.

Jafar fired his magic at Aladdin when he zipped close enough but thankfully Genie and the Fairy Aunts managed to fire their own to collide with his. They seemed to struggle but Jafar only laughed at this.

“I may not be able to kill you all.” He said. “But my powers is beyond anything you can throw at me!”

With that he forced more magical power from his blast that managed to beat all four of their, knocking them back. While he took in the victory, Aladdin swopped in on the magic carpet and slashed his sword on Jafar’s cheek. He yelled a bit before the wound healed itself, Aladdin seeing with dismay.

“I’ve had enough of you, street rat!” Jafar shouted as he fired more spells at him.

Simba was pushed back hard when Scar rammed into him like a bull. He didn’t have much time to recover before Scar swiped at him with a massive paw, knocking him to the ground.

“How does it feel, Simba?” he said as he came towards him. “To feel so weak? You and your father, Better fighters than me. Not anymore! Now I have the strength!”

“Yeah...” Simba struggled to say as he got to his feet. “..but at least we didn’t need a power boost to kick your sorry tail, Scar.”

Scar gave an angered roar as he charged towards Simba again, this time the lion managing to jump away in time for Scar to ram into a wall. It left a large crack dent in the stone work but Scar shook it off before attacking Simba again. Meanwhile Philip, Eric and Peter were doing their best against the savage hyenas. Philip was pinned with nothing but his shield between him and the snapping jaws of the monster Ed. Eric managed to keep a sword caught in Shenzi’s mouth, making her unable to fully clap them down on his face. And Peter, along with Tink, tried staying in the air long enough before finding a blind spot to it Banzi from, only for it to work once before Banzi managed to knock him out of the air. Peter was only saved when Tink provided cover, via her pixie dust, that she shot into his eyes to blind him long enough.

When Donald fired magic bolts at Pete, he shrugged them off before sweeping his massive arm at him and Goofy. While Goofy managed to block it with his shield the force was strong enough to knock both of them back. Taran and Mickey both tried to take the opportunity to fight him off, only for Pete to knock Taran away before grabbing one of Mickey’s sword and using it against him.

“I’m larger than life now, little runt!” he grunted as he fought. “You’ve got no chance now!”

“There’s always a chance as long as I’m still breathing!” Mickey said, ducking away from one swing.

“Then let me fix that for ya!” Pete boomed before managing to knock Mickey’s other sword out of his hand and grabbing him with both his arms.

He brought him close and began to crush him with his strength, laughing the whole time he did. Mickey looked to see everyone else too busy to help or looking like they were losing their own battle too.

From above the Horned King and Grimhilde watched, both eagerly enjoying the show. She looked up to her king to see him still standing near Alice as he watched the spectacle before him.

“You’re doing so well, child.” He said. “Who knows. When I am king over all worlds, I may even come to think of you as a daughter to me.”

Grimhilde, hearing this, looked back to the battlefield and smiled to herself. She pictured that very idea, her with the Horned King and Alice all within a grand palace overlooking their mighty kingdom they would rule with an iron fist. All bowing to her and calling her fairest of them all. The very idea mad her laugh with glee as she continued to see the heroes slowly be defeated.

********************

From inside the fortress, everyone in the main room could feel the slight tremor from outside along with another sudden boom of laughter from Ursula.

“Sounds like your friends aren’t doing too good.” Facilier said to his still shadow-bond captives. “Guess that means the King’s putting that little blondie to work.”

“You mean Alice?” Timon asked. “How the heck is she doing that?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know.” Pain and Panic obnoxiously said together.

Stitch struggled, even saying things in his alien language, before Gaston said “Keep quiet you little.....whatever you are.” Gaston’s finger was close enough that Stitch tried to snap at him, making him recoil before he could bite. Angered, Gaston said “That’s it! I’m putting this odd little dog down!”

“You leave him alone!” Cinderella defiantly said, trying to stand only for the shadows to keep her down.

Gaston stopped and looked at her before giving a devious grin. He walked over and said “And who might you be, fair miss?” the princess looked away from him in disgust. “Well you’re no Belle but you are quite the sight.”

“You leave her alone, you hollow-headed oaf!” her Godmother said.

“Pipe down, granny.” Facilier said, making his shadows keep her down hard.

Gaston reached out and grabbed Cinderella by the chin saying “Come now, girl. No woman can resist Gaston.”

“Funny.” She said. “I heard Belle took Adam when he was a beast over you. And I’m already spoken for. But even if I wasn’t I’d never take someone like you.”

Le Fou laughed, making Gaston look agitated towards him, as he said “Guess the truth hurts don’t it, Gaston?”

He walked over and grabbed Le Fou by the collar and hoisted him up eye-to-eye while saying “You never could sat the smart thing, could you?”

Pain groaned and said “I’m getting tired of all this talking. I’m getting hungry.” This made some of the heroes look worried amongst each other. “How about one of them?” he pointed at Timon, Pumba and even Gurgi.

“What?” Gurgi began to sound very worried. “You no want to eat Gurgi. I, uh....all fur. No meat.”

“And I’m gamey like a piece of gum.” Timon said. “All you’ll do is chew and chew but it won’t get you anything but bad breath.”

Panic waved it off and said “Oh don’t bother with them, Pain. Just take that one.” He pointed at Pumba.

Facilier looked over and this and rolled his eyes, saying “How does Hades put up with you two?”

Pain licked his chops and said “Yeah. I’ll take the pig.”

Timon’s eyes wen t wide as he turned back to Pumba, who had a very stern angry look as he said “Are you talking about me?”

Pain and Panic looked at each other oddly before the former said “Uh, yeah.”

“Oh boy.” Timon said.

“Are You talking about Me?” Pumba asked again.

Timon then said “You should’ve said that.”

“Are YOU talking about ME?”

“Here it comes.”

“They call me MISTER PIG!”

Whether it was his inner strength or his sudden unyielding rage, Pumba had managed to break free from the grasp of the shadows holding him just to charge forward towards Pain and Panic. When he rammed into both they went flying, Panic right into Facilier, which made him drop his staff forcing the shadows to disappear. Facilier managed to catch the staff before it could fall all the way to the ground, but that wasn’t enough time for him to call back the shadows when Gurgi, Grumpy and Sneezy jumped on him. Le Fou took the chance to slip out of Gaston’s grip before kicking him in the shin. The hunter yowled in pain, Le Fou commenting he knew about his trick knee he always had, before getting away before Gaston could recover.

Seeing this Lucifer tried to run for it, scurrying across the table, but he was stopped when Iago grabbed his tail and hauled him back saying “Not so fast, you fluffy jerk!”

Lucifer turned and hissed before tackling Iago, the two struggling on top the table as they fought. Pumba already had the two demons beaten to the point where they ran off, both with blackened eyes and missing teeth.

“I’m never eating pork again!” Pain yelled before both dashed out of the room.

Timon came over and say “Good job, buddy. Knocked them right out of the park.”

“I think you mean fortress, Timon.” Pumba said.

The Fairy Godmother saw as the others had Facilier down, Dopey being the one holding his staff while the others held his arms and legs, but then she looked over and saw Stitch sniffing the ground nearby. He perked his ears up before running out of the room, she calling out “Stitch! Where are you going?”

Anastaia was the only one to see that Gaston snuck behind Cinderella, brandishing a large hunting knife, making her too late to stop him when she cried “Watch out!”

Gaston grabbed Cinderella’s arm and forced it behind her back while keeping the knife near her neck. He started to back up and said “No one do anything they’ll end up regretting.”

Naveen was the one to say “Put it down, Gaston. You’re beaten.”

“You might be right, frog.” He began. “But that doesn’t mean I’m coming with you. You let me walk out of here, you can keep the Shadow Man if you want.”

“WHAT!?!” Facilier shouted.

He ignored this as he said “Let me go, or she get it.” He indicated Cinderella.

The Godmother was the one to say “We’ll let you go.” At this point Gaston had backed up near the large window at the end of the room. “Just don’t harm Cinderella.”

Gaston chuckled and said “Good.” He spoke to the princess when he said “You may get away today but be assured, I’ll be back. And when I do I’ll--”

“Hey!” a small squeaking voice said. “You leave Cinderelli alone.”

“Yeah. Leave her alone!”

Gaston looked down as the mice, Jauq and Gus, poked out from Cinderella’s pocket and ran up his arm. Both looked ready to fight but all were surprised when Gaston gave a fearful shrill and let Cinderella go.

The mice scurried all over him as he pleaded “Get them off! I hate mice! Get them off!”

The Fairy Godmother and Anastasia ran over to make sure Cinderella was fine, she saying she was, before they looked back to see Gaston still panicking over the mice on him. Some, even Facilier, shook their heads at the sight of a man, who claimed to b the bravest, was turned into a screaming girl over two mice.

“Will wonders never cease.” The Shadow Man said to himself.

As they struggled Gaston didn’t see that he was stepping too close to the large window. Cinderella gasped as she saw how close he was getting before rushing over.

“Gaston! Look out!” was all she could say before the hunter finally fell over and crashed through the window.

Jauq and Gus managed to jump off him in time and right into Cinderella’s arms before joining him, but all could hear his screaming as he went further and further down. They grew softer and softer before finally stopping, some looking way from the window as if still doing so made them actually see what was left of him.

Iago had beaten Lucifer so much that, with one final kick to the backside, the cat went running out the room in a panic with the bird calling out “Next time I’ll have you fixed, you fat cat!”

As everyone recovered Cinderella looked to her mice friends and said “Thank you. Both of you.”

“No problem, Cinderelli.” Jauq said.

“No problem. No problem.” Gus added.

The heroes now looked to Facilier, still being held by the two dwarves and Gurgi, before Naveen said “Alright, Shadow Man. What’s this plan have to do with Alice?”

Reluctantly Facilier explained what Alice was being used for, how her power to bend reality was now in the hands of the Horned King and those same powers were now being used against the heroes outside. He chuckled as he finished with “Bet by now they’re like bugs under a boot: squashed.”

He chuckled more before Grumpy demanded “How do stop it?”

Facilier smirked as he said “There’s only one way: stop the girl. But how I wonder? I bet you all do, don’t you?” he chuckled more as they looked amongst each other, most having the same idea they didn’t want to admit. “What is it that Queen from the story always said? Oh right. ‘Off with her head’.”

“It won’t come to that.” Cinderella said.

Iago was the one to say “You so sure about that?”

“Oh come now.” The Godmother said. “We’re not going to murder an innocent child.”

“The same innocent child who can do practically whatever she wants.” Naveen added.

“What are you saying?” Cinderella asked.

“I’m not saying anything. I just think we might not have that many options.”

The Godmother tried to protest with “But...but we can’t just...”

“Maybe we not have to.” Gurgi suggested. “Maybe we just knock her out. You know. Big bump on head.”

The whole time they talked no one noticed that Facilier had pulled out a handful of magic powder from his pocket. With everyone distracted he threw it to the ground, creating a big puff of smoke that blinded everyone. This gave him the chance to slip out of the grasp of those holding him before knocking them back.

Still covered by the powder cloud, Faclier looked and said to himself “Now where’s that....?” he stopped when he spotted Dopey holding his staff, seeing him and backing up. “Hand it over, bright boy.” Dopey shook his head before Facilier grabbed it and said “Give it!”

Both struggled to take it away from the other while the rest managed to clear away the smokescreen surrounding them. They were coughing for a moment before they were able to see what was going on.

“Dopey!” Cinderella exclaimed, seeing him dealing with Facilier.

As they kept struggling the Shadow Man said “Careful, you idiot. If this breaks it--” just as soon as he said it, Dopey pulled back hard enough that he took the staff out of Faclier’s grip but tripped on is large shirt and fell back. Facilier gave a resounding “NO!” before the staff fell to the ground and the large orb on top cracked to pieces.

From the remains a small cyclone of shadows and magic swirled about. The sounds of what seemed like laughter were coming from it as Facilier backed up to a vacant wall away from it. The heroes all stood back in shock as the shadows finally stopped spinning and were now decorating the walls around them. At first they feared they would attack them but instead their attention was to the cowering Facilier.

He gave a panicked laugh as he said “Friends! You-you’re not going to hold...all this business between us, are you? It-it was the Horned King. He’s the one who trapped you.”

The Shadows soon began to sing their song that signed bad for Facilier. He backed up more against the wall his own shadow cowering like him, as the shadows turned into the voodoo spirit faces that had control over Facilier before. His eyes went wide with fear as they kept singing the song as they came closer.

~ Are you ready? ~

Facilier screamed “NO! No not again! I can’t go back! No!” as the shadows reached out from the voodoo faces and grabbed him. “I wasn’t my fault! I swear!” More and more he was pulled in until he was finally within the mouth. The last word he could sound was “NNnnooooooo--” before it clamped down.

As the faces and shadows disappeared they gave one final Hush

Everyone relaxed before looking to Dopey. He was still shocked by what he saw before looking down at the remains of the staff still in his hands. He quickly dropped them and wiped his hands on his chest before looking back to the others.

“Uh.....good work, Dopey.” Naveen said, not really sure what else to say about what just happened.

“I would ask what just happened.” Timon said. “But to be honest I don’t think I’m that curious.”

A sudden rumble from outside and the sound of fighting snapped them back to the matter at hand, making Cinderella say “Come on! We need to help the others.”

“We know the way.” Le Fou said.

“Yeah. Just keep up.” Iago said before flying out with most of them following.

Anastasia waited until Cinderella was with her before they both ran off with the others, both feeling a little reassurance in knowing their sister was with them.

Grumpy stopped and said “Hold it.” Before indicating Dopey and Sneezy to follow him. A moment later all three returned with the Magic Mirror in their hands, all carrying it on their backs. “Couldn’t forget this.”

“Good thinking, Grumpy.” Naveen said. “Now let’s hurry.”

********************

As Pete squeezed more and more life out of Mickey he said “You got nowhere else to run, squirt. No friends to help you. And no more surprises.”

As Mickey struggled he smirked and said “You think so?”

Suddenly, with his hands free, Mickey produced two balls of fire from his palms and slapped them into each side of Pete’s face. While it didn’t fully scar him it did leave soot marks on Pete’s face. He let go out of pain and covered his face as Mickey fell to the ground and caught his breath.

When Pete recovered he growled and said “How did you--?”

“I trained with master Yen Sid too, you know.” Mickey answered before throwing another fireball at him.

Pete managed to catch this one in his hand and squeeze it out before growling at Mickey. From his left, suddenly, Donald charged in with his wand and gave a battle cry. Pete grabbed him by the head, Mickey running into help, before catching the mouse king by the head too. As both struggled Goofy yelled he was coming to save them from behind, making Pete turn and wait until he was close enough. When he was he knocked all three of their heads together, making them fall to the ground.

The Horned King gave a laugh as he saw this, as well as the others heroes all defeated. Simba was held down by one large paw from Scar while the same was sad of Peter, Philip and Eric by the hyenas. Adam and Herc were held in the tight grips of Ursula tentacles. Jafar used the magic carpet to bind Aladdin, genie and the Fairy Aunts together. Taran managed to get back to his feet only for Pete to toss Mickey on him, Goofy and Donald landing nearby.

With all of the heroes defeated the Horned King addressed them all, saying “Admirable effort, gentlemen and ladies. When this story is told you may take comfort in knowing that your deaths will be told as the bravest, if most foolish, final act you could attempt.” Most of the heroes who weren’t still struggling, or trying to recover, hung their heads in defeat. “Time to face the truth: you’ve lost. And your defeat will cost you greatly.”

“Let’s finish them off now!” Jafar said. “I want to see the light leave this street rat’s eyes.”

“No.” the King said. “I want them to watch as their friends are executed one-by-one. First....the pig boy.”

Everyone looked with dismay at Taran, who was picked up by Pete and tossed forward. Nowhere else to run and his sword too far away, and no real point in trying to reach it as there was no way he could win this fight now, Taran struggled to his feet and looked up as the Horned King looked down at him.

As the Horned King aimed his hand towards Taran, the magic already building, he said “Any last words, pig boy?”

He looked back to Mickey, seeing that even he had a look of defeat on him, before looking back to the King and saying “You may win but we won’t be the last to stand up to you.”

The King only huffed, his eyes glowing red, as he said “Then they will all perish, just as you.”

Taran closed his eyes, same as some of the other heroes, before the King charged his blast for the kill. Suddenly something rushed in and clapped it’s jaw over the king’s arm, making him yell in pain and everyone look to see what it was.

“Stitch!” Taran cried with joy, seeing the blue alien still clamping his mouth on the king’s arm.

Grimhilde saw this and rushed out of the balcony, obviously trying to get up to the king to help. The Horned King was stepping back, pulling on Stitch’s leg, doing anything he could to get him off.

“Let go of me!” he shouted at him. “You disgusting little creature! Let go!” He didn’t realize he was starting to walk back towards Alice now as he swung his arm about. “I said let g--” He gave his arm another big swing, hitting Alice in the back of the head in the process. Stitch finally let go and landed on the roof while the Horned King saw what he did and cried “NO!”

Time almost seemed to slow down as everyone watched Alice fall. What some didn’t fully realize was that her being knocked out meant she wasn’t concentrating, which explained why the villains who’d been supercharged thanks to her were now beginning to shrink down in size. In what seemed like the moment of a lifetime, Peter Pan took the opportunity now that the hyena holding him didn’t have all his strength and knocked him off before he flew over to catch her. He flew faster than he’d ever done before, zipping through the air in almost the blink of an eye. Peter pushed as fast and hard as he could, Alice coming closer and closer to the ground. Some couldn’t look, seeing he would either be close or too late. Finally....

“Got you!” Peter exclaimed as he caught Alice and landed on the ground.

Some cheered at this while others took deep breaths of relief. Meantime the villains all looked in shock as they shrunk back to normal.

“Uh-oh.” The hyenas said together as Simba knocked Scar off him and Eric and Philip picked up their weapons and pointed them at them.

“This...this can’t be happening!” the King said, seeing this.

Pete rushed away, along with Ursula and Scar, as they were all bunched together against the wall with some of the heroes surrounding them. Seeing this Taran called his sword back to his hand before he and Mickey ran over to Peter who, along with Tinkerbell who’d reached him, all looked at Alice who was still knocked out.

“Is she alright?” Taran asked.

“I think so.” Peter said. “She’ll be fine.”

“Finally some good news.” Mickey said.

“Would you care for some more?” the voice of Naveen said, making them all look to see as he and the others emerged from the doorway into the arena the villains had entered before.
Amongst some of reunions some of the heroes shared, Taran handed back the Fairy Godmother her wand and said “I think this is yours.”

She took it back and said “Oh thank goodness. Feels like getting a long lost friend back.”

Mickey suddenly noticed the three turncoat villains and looked to Cinderella, about to ask, but she only answered with “Long story. Just know they’re with us.”

Mickey nodded, getting reassuring smiles from them, before everyone heard the Horned King shout “NO! This can’t be happening!” he looked as Jafar had backed away from the heroes, still in his genie form, before looking to Stitch and angrily saying “You! This is all your fault! How dare you!”

Stitch said something in his alien tongue, Donald looking to Goofy and asking “What he’d say?”

Goofy blushed a bit and said “Gawrsh. I don’t think I can tell you.”

The Horned King aimed his hand, ready to fire a blast at Stitch, while saying “I’ll end you, you--” he was stopped when Tinkerbell suddenly flew in front of him and started spraying her fairy dust at him, saying something in her fairy language.

Peter looked up and smiled to himself, understand what she was saying. “You tell him, Tink!” he shouted up to her.

The Horned King wiped enough dust away and shouted “ENOUGH!” He grabbed Tinkerbell in one hand and said “No more!” He began to squeeze her and said “I will crush you!”

Tinker struggled more and more as he squeezed harder. His eyes blazed with red as she began to feel his grip growing too tight. Then, in one sudden moment that made everyone’s hearts stop in shock, Tinkerbell did not move anymore.

Stitch looked concerned and called “Fairy-bug?”

The Horned King opened his hand, Tinkerbell’s glowing body now dark and lifeless. Stitch managed to catch her while Peter had a horrified look in his eyes, just as most all the other heroes did as well.

“No....” Taran said.

But it was true as Stitch held the cold body of the little fairy Tinkerbell in his paw.
Peter gave a loud scream of anger as he handed Alice to Goofy, who was nearby. He drew his large sword and zipped up to the Horned King.

“YOU KILLED HER!” he screamed as he swung his sword, only for the King to grab his with one hand and break it in two with his magic. Peter pulled out a dagger and said “She was my friend and YOU KILLED HER!”

The king grabbed his wrist as he tried to plunge the dagger into his chest and held up on hand to fire a killing spell right into Peter’s face, all the while saying “Then let me reunite you both!”

Mickey let out a defiant “NO!” as Peter looked in horror at the blast that was about to hit him.

But then, much to his and everyone else’s surprise, the King’s magic seemed to hurt him instead of Peter. He didn’t even manage to fire his spell when he let Peter go and felt his arm in pain. Both Peter and Stitch took the chance and made their way down to the others, Peter carrying Stitch. When they got to the ground Stitch had tears in his eyes as he handed Tinkerbell to Peter.

He fell to his knees and wept, some saying “No...” or covering their mouths in horror at the sight.

Stitch walked up to Peter, putting his paw on his shoulder, and said “She saved me. She....was my hero.”

Peter gave a slight smile, as did some others, before weeping over the loss of his friend again. All looked back up as the Horned King stood weakened and looking at his hand. Grimhilde had managed to reach him and was trying to keep him standing.

“My king!” she said. “What is it? What’s wrong?”

“It’s....the magic.” He realized. “All the use of the portal spell..... resurrections... it’s .... it’s starting to take it tool on me. I’m growing weak!”

He looked about, thinking to himself what to do, while Grimhilde said “What can I do to help, my king? Tell me. What can I do?”

The King finally stopped, as if a sudden epiphany came to him, and said “Kiss me.”

“Wh-what?” she asked in surprise.

He turned before bringing her close and holding her tenderly as he said “Grimhilde, my dear. My Queen. My love. Kiss me.”

Before he knew it both her lips and his connected. As first she was still surprised, especially since his lips were like that of a skulls, but she eventually relaxed and took in his kiss. Most of the heroes, and some villains, looked at this with disgust.

Some said “Ewww.” while Genie said “I think I’m going to hurl.”

As they continued to kiss, the Horned King’s right hand came up and held the back of Grimhidle’s head. She realized this and tried to pull away but the King’s grip around her was too tight. His eyes suddenly glowed green and she soon looked with fear as the magical energy from her body began to leave her. But it was not only the magic he granted to her he took back, it was also the life-force he’d granted her to be reborn again. This was made evident as Grimhidle began to see her skin wither with age. Everyone else looked in shock as she became more and more withered, the Horned King still kissing her the whole time. Eventually it came down to Grimdhilde as nothing more than a skeleton that he finally dropped to the ground.

The Horned King merely looked down at the remains and said “Such a pity.”

“What....what did you do?” Ursula said.

“What I must.” The King answered.

“You....you killed her!” Scar said.

“Wrong.” The King retorted as he now looked to both he and Ursula now. “I took back what I gave her. Just like I did you!”

Before either of them could react the King shot out two tendrils of magical energy from his hands that attached to both Scar and Ursula. They both screamed in pain and horror as the life-force was drained from them, the heroes looking more horrified at this.

“Scar!” Simba cried as he saw his uncle wither away into nothing but dust just like Ursula.

The dark colors around the hyenas sudden disappeared at the death of Scar, making Banzi say “We’re loose. Let’s beat it before he does the same to us!”

The hyenas, and even Pete now, all broke for the doorway, which was clear, and ran out of the fortress. The heroes did not bother to stop them, whether because they were still shocked by what had happened  or knew they weren’t a threat anymore it didn’t matter.

What they did notice was that, because of her death, Naveen suddenly changed back to human, seeing this and saying “Ashedanza!”

********************

As everyone stood around, waiting for some good sign, Tiana suddenly found herself changing back to human form.

Everyone stood back and waited until they saw she was cred, saying “I’m me again!” some of the other nearby rallied to her in joy as she said “I’m human again!”

While Minnie and Daisy and the others all looked cheerfully at this, Yen Sid still had a uneasy look on his face, sensing something was still wrong.

********************

Philip looked up to the king and said “How....how could you?” Jafar had floated near the Horned King at this point as he continued with “I thought they were your friends!”

“They are nothing more than a means to an end.” He said. “I am the only true king and it will be me who rules over all the worlds!”

“Hate to burst your bubble, but you’re outnumbered.” Eric said. “Just you two left.”

“Give up, Horned King.” Mickey said. “This is your last chance.”

“I think not.” He retorted. “It was yours.” He looked over and said “Jafar! I make my final wish.” Jafar looked early at this response before he continued with “I wish....for you to awaken the mighty Chernabog! The Lord of Bald Mountain!”

Jafar angrily responded with “We had a deal! You promised me my freedom!”

The Horned King held up the black lamp that was hidden in his robes and exclaimed “Do as your master commands! Awaken him!”

Jafar gave a defeating yell as he pointed his finger and fired a bolt of magic that went up to the very top of the mountain. As soon as he did Jafar found himself being sucked back into the lamp, like smoke into a vacuum. He shouted in defiance before fully being entrapped back inside the lamp. The Horned King tossed it aside and looked up to the mountain, Aladdin managing to catch it before he and everyone else below looked.

The bolt of magic hit the very top of the mountain and ping with light. Everyone watched as the very peek seemed to move. They looked in horror as they saw it did, revealing that what they thought was rock was in fact wings. Two large bat-like wings sprouted out and spread to their fullest length, revealing the large dark being that was Chernabog. The gigantic demon stretched out his massive arms, his two large horns gleaming in the night, before his large yellow eyes opened and looked down at everyone below.

Everyone looked in horror at the sight before them before Chernabog folded his arms and boomed “Who dares to wake me from my sleep? Speak!”

The Horned King held up his hands and said “Oh mighty Chernabog, I am the Horned King of the world Prydain. I have summoned you from your slumber in order to aid me. I seek to cover all the worlds in darkness and bow to the powers of evil. I lay myself at your service, to be your most loyalty servant in helping you spread you dark powers to every world beyond this one.”

Chernabog huffed a little and said “Do you now? And what is it you want in return?”

“To rule over these worlds as king! He declared. “To only answered to you. And I want my foes, those that stand here against myself and you, slain. See them sent to lowest pits of darkness at let them burn!” He went down on his knee and said “Do this for me and I will be your most loyal and humble servant.”

The heroes all looked worried as ever at this. The Horned King was still kneeling as Chernabog looked between him and the heroes. He finally gave an answer which all the heroes held their breath in anticipation to hear. But the answer was something that surprised everyone, even the Horned King. Chernabog was laughing. He bellowed his booming laugher and threw his head back for a moment, the King looking confused as ever by this.

When he stopped Chernabog looked at the Horned King and said “You pathetic little excuse for a king. You really think that I would need you to invade the worlds? Had it never occurred to you that, if I so wished, I could take the worlds with a simple wave of my hand? But you fail to see the grander picture. You know not what actions like those could cause to the balance of the cosmos. You simply think that because you were reborn by some great artifact of your world that you know power? I was ancient when that cauldron was still being forged by the gods of your world.” The King stood and looked surprised by this before he continued with “Yes. I know your story, Horned King. And all it serves to prove is that you are nothing more than a simple creature who seeks to demand the respect of all those around him. You’re like a child in a sandbox, trying to make everyone else listen to him because he fears  that he is nothing. And you are nothing, sad to say.” The Horned King lowered his head from Chernabog’s gaze. “Now leave me.” He looked to the others. “All of you. Go! And thank whatever deities you pray to that I am generous this day and allowed you to live.”

Mickey swallowed his fear and said “We...we will. Thank you, oh gracious Chernabog. We will do as you wish.”

Suddenly they all heard as the Horned King said “How...dare...you.” he looked back up to Chernabog, his eyes flaring red, as he shouted it again. “How dare YOU!” Magic blasted from his hands and seemed to engulf him as he declared “I AM THE HORNED KING! And I will not be defeated! EVEN BY YOU!”

As more magic poured over him, the King’s body became engulfed in a bellow of magical green smoke. It soon occurred to everyone that it was his own body being turned into the smoke. It all suddenly shot up towards Chernabog, nothing left of the Horned King standing where he was.

“No! Stop!” Mickey shouted as he saw the smoke cloud come closer to Chernabog.

The great demon looked and said “What is--?” before the smoke reached him and flew into his nose, ears and even through his eyes. “What...are you doing?” he struggled to say as he felt the smoke going through his head.

The heroes all watched as Chernabog thrashed about as if in pain. Some even stood back at the risk of him doing something that might hurt them in the process. When he finally stopped Chernabog spoke, but his voice was now augmented by that of one who mad them all look horrified.

“I....can feel it.” He began to say, his skin suddenly changing into a more green and withered color. “I can feel the powers coursing through my very veins!” He turned as his wings became the same, more withered and broken but still intimidating. “The powers of the world at my very finger tips!” His horns became gnarled and misshaped like that of the King’s. When he opened his eyes they were now sunken and red, his teeth now like that of a skulls to match with the rest of his face. “I am reborn! I am the most powerful being in existence! THIS is the true powers of a god! No longer the Horned king. I am....THE HORNED GOD OF DARKNESS!”

The Horned God revealed his final form, showing how Chernabog’s appearance was now fused with that of the Horned King’s into the most devilish sight they’d ever laid their eyes on. As he cast his gaze towards the heroes they all backed up in fear.

Hercules looked to Genie and said “You remember that plan you had about waving the white flag?” when Genie nodded he said “That’s not sounding like such a bad idea right now.”

Gaston hates mice. That's unexpected. As was the Horned King's power. I did not think that was possible with Chernabog.

I thought the thing with Gaston showed irony since he can hunt beasts but can't face mice lol.

Oh wow! I was thinking Chernabog would appear, but I didn't think he be so...logical. But the Horned King screwed that up!

This was a great chapter! I feel sorry for the villains that had previously died, but not much.

Lol Yeah this was another fun chapter to do. Especially because since there's just one intense moment after another, then with Tink being killed, and then topping it off with the Horned King and all. Yep, never get's old ^^
