Description
The SignalOn the beaches of Hawaii, in the early hours of the day, a large sandy city had been carved out to near perfection.
From behind one building a little girl raised her arm, a green doll in her hand with a cape attached to it, and said “From way up in the clouds above, Super Scrump keeps a watchful eye over the citizens of Sandy City.” She added whooshing sounds as she guided the doll over the city in a superhero pose before stopping and saying “All seems quiet….but wait! What’s that?”
From behind a row of sand buildings came the large blue furry form of Stitch, the alien dog creature. He was wearing a cardboard fin on his back while using a pair of black socks over his ears to look like horns. He gave a playful roar before kicking over buildings or eating little shells with faces drawn on them to act as people.
“Uh-oh.” Lilo said, standing up with Super Scrump in her hand. “It’s the dreaded Six-two-saurus! Don’t worry. Super Scrump will save the day!”
She zipped her doll over and started making blasting sounds, like laser-vision. Stitch acted as though he was hit while also swiping at the doll. Both continued their play fight before Lilo used Scrump to super punch Stitch right in the jaw; all fake of course. He toppled back and eventually fell down, giving a fake death groan as he did, right on top of more buildings.
Lilo raised Scrump higher and declared “And so the dreaded monster is defeated. The city is saved.” She looked around at the only two sand buildings left standing and commented “Well…mostly saved.” She then looked back and said “And it’s all thanks to Super….” She stopped when she realized something off about her alien friend and asked “Stitch?”
Stitch, while still on his back, was looking up at the sky with a look of wonder and yet surprise. Lilo titled her head in confusion before looking up and seeing, to her surprise, three stars twinkling in the sky.
“That’s weird.” She commented. “It’s way too early to see any…” She stopped when Stitch pulled off his costume and began looking around the beach, almost frantically. “Hey! Stitch!” She chased after him until he stopped, still looking around. “What’s the matter?”
He looked back and answered “Friends calling.”
“Friends?” she asked, before looking back to the stars. “You mean them?” she pointed out. “Is it more aliens?”
Stitch gave a negative grunt and said “Friends.”
She was still confused, Stitch still wandering about and looking around, before she said “Wait. Do you mean those friends you met when you disappeared that time?” Stitch nodded while giving a little noise again before she asked “Your friends are stars? That’s kind of cool.” She then asked “If they’re calling, what are you looking for?”
“Doorway.” Stitch answered, finally looking back to the three bright stars. “To get to other world.”
Lilo, after hearing this, looked a bit depressed and asked “Does this mean you have to go away again?”
Stitch looked to her, seeing how upset she was, before holding her hands and saying “I come back. Promise.”
“I know.” She said, not sounding very convinced of it. “I just…wish I could come along. Meet your friends. But I guess it’s too important, right?”
As she said this she turned away from Stitch. However when she did she was hiding the sly smirk on her face. Obviously she was playing reverse psychology with the little blue alien and was hoping he’d fall for it.
Stitch gave a little grumble as his ears went down before sighing and saying “You can come if you want.”
She instantly turned and hugged him. Afterwards she said “Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone.” She thought to herself for a second and asked “You think we should leave a note or something for Nani? That way she doesn’t worry.”
Stitch thought too before snapped his claws and running off to grab a stick. When he came back he started dragging it through the sand and writing out a message. It took a moment before he’d finally carved out the follow:
Nani, gone to help friends. Will be back when done. Lilo and Stitch. P.S. do not eat ham in fridge, that for Stitch
Lilo nodded at the message before putting Scrump down near a tree and saying “You keep an eye out. Okay, Scrump?” She waited in silence for a second before saying “Good girl.” When it was done both she and Stitch stood by the sea, looking up to the stars, before she asked “So what are we waiting for?”
As if on cue something began to appear nearby. What started as a feint glow began to grow in shape and form. Eventually it became the shape of a doorway, one that slowly began to open.
Stitch merely pointed it out and answered “That.”
********************
In the few worlds that existed among the man Out Worlds the three stars appeared overhead so that the heroes of those worlds could see them.
At the sight they all knew what it meant and insanity readied themselves before the doorways appeared to welcome them to Castle Disney. When they would enter they would be met by King Mickey and Minnie standing at the side, waiting to welcome them along with Donald, Goofy, Max, Scrooge and a few of the animate broom servants waiting to help them. Merida stood behind the king and queen, wanting to see what sort of heroes and creatures existed in these other worlds.
The first to arrive was none other than Taran, Princess Eilonwey and Gurgi; from the world of Prydain where the Horned King had also come from.
Seeing their old friends, Micky and Minnie bowed before the former said “It’s good to see you again, Taran.”
“And you as well, Mickey.” He said back. “It’s been too long.”
“Indeed.” Minnie added. “You both look a little older since we last saw you.”
Eilonwey giggled and said “Taran hates to admit it himself. He prefers to still be the YOUNGEST knight of the realm and stands proud because of it.”
While Taran blushed at this, Mickey and Minnie giving a chuckle, Gurgi came up and said “Gugri happy to see you again, mouse people.” He then noticed the stunned looking Merida behind them and asked “Who red head girl?”
Mickey answered with “Oh! Everyone, this is Princess Merida. From one of the newer worlds.”
All of them bowed or curtsied before Eilonwey said “A pleasure to meet you, miss.”
Merida gave a little curtsy back and said “Aye, same to you.” Still looking oddly at Gurgi.
Taran looked to Mickey and asked “Does she have something to do with why we were called?”
The King only patted his shoulder and said “Wait till the other show up. Then we’ll get into it.”
With that the three nodded before walking off to be greeted by the others.
Merida, finally looked back to Mickey and Minnie before saying “And I thought the headless man was weird.”
Minnie giggled before commenting “And you still haven’t met the others yet. I think you’ll be more surprised.”
Before Merida could ask she gasped with shock at what came through the Doorway next. The large lion Simba came through while accompanied by his wife and queen of the Pridelands, Nala.
As Merida looked ready to run or grab a weapon to fight, Mickey tried to calm her while saying “It’s alright, Princess. They’re friends.” He then turned back and said “Good to see you again, Simba.”
“You too, Mickey.” He said. He then guested towards his wife and said “I don’t you actually met. This is Nala.”
After Minnie greeted her, both she and Mickey bowing to the lioness, she asked “Where are Timon and Pumba?”
Nala was the one to answer with “Well the other night both they and Simba here tried an all you can eat contest with any bugs they could find. They both won. And now they can barely fit out of the cave.”
After they all shared a laugh the two lions moved on, Merida watch them before asking “We’re those talking lions?”
Minnie smiled and said “Like I said, you’ve yet to be surprised.”
Within the passing hour more and more heroes emerged. Snow White arrived with all seven of the dwarfs, each giving a salute or hello matching their own characteristic. Cinderella and Prince Charming, who like Nala had been told of what happened by his wife, came through followed by the Fairy Godmother and the mice Jauq and Gus. Then came Ariel and Prince Erik who were followed by Naveen and Tiana and the final pair of Belle and the beast turned Prince Adam. Aladdin and Jasmine arrived with the magic carpet, Iago the parrot, who’d tuned to good after the war, and Genie, he giving an imitation of a talk show host when greeting everyone. Aurora and Prince Philip came through with the three fairy aunts Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, the latter three commenting on the women’s dresses and how they should be their preferred colors. The demigod Hercules arrived with Meg and the winged horse Pegasus with Phil the satyr riding him through the doorway. Then came the larger group of Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and all of the Lost Boys; who once they arrived all crowed together with Taran and the others they’d considered honorary Lost Boys.
Next came the little girl Alice, from Wonderland, who curtsied and said “Oh it’s ever so nice to see you again, your majesties.”
“The same to you as always, Alice.” Mickey said before asking “How have things been in wonderland?”
She giggled and said “As upside down and curious as they always are.”
Minnie asked “And how about your powers? Are you keeping them in check?”
Alice nodded a little and said “Well I do try.” She rubbed her head, Mickey asking if she was alright, before she answered “Oh, it’s nothing. It’s just a small headache. I think it’s from all the practice with my powers. But…” To demonstrate to them she held out her hand, closed it, and when she opened it five butterflies with different colors fluttered out and flew off. “…that hasn’t stopped me from keeping up the good work.”
Mickey and Minnie nodded before Alice went off, to be greeted instantly by Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, before they looked back to Merida. She looked even more surprised, yet also seemed a bit dishearten by everyone she was seeing and meeting.
When Minnie asked, Merida answered “It’s just….a bit overwhelming is all. I mean here I was thinking I was one of the best because I can shoot and arrow better than anyone in my kingdom. It just seems…a bit meaningless when you have men who can lift mountains and girls with magic.”
“That doesn’t mean your any less then they are.” Mickey said. “In fact, I’ll bet you’re still the best archer out of everyone here.”
“Besides,” Minnie added “you shouldn’t judge yourself based on others. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes after all.”
Merida nodded to herself and seemed ready to say something, only to be shocked into silence by the sight of Stitch appearing from the Doorway. Mickey and Minnie however looked back and smiled with glee at the sight.
“Mickey and Minnie!” Stitch declared before hugging both of them, even using his extra pair of arms usually hidden.
Both were squeezed a little too rough before he finally let go, Minnie recovering and saying “It’s glad to have you back, Stitch.” She then noticed as Lilo peeked her head from the Doorway, making her ask “And who’s this?”
Stitch brought Lilo forward and, after introducing her, the little girl gave a small wave and said “Hello.” With a shy tone.
“It’s nice to finally meet you, Lilo.” Mickey said, making her ask how he knew her name. “Stitch mentioned you before when he was here the first time. I have to say, you two must be really good friends if he bought you along.”
She perked up and smiled at Stitch, he giving a toothy grin back, before saying “Thank you. You’re sure I’m not getting in the way or anything?”
“Not at all, little one.” Minnie said, taking her hand and leading her towards the others. “Any friend of Stitch is a friend of ours as well.”
While Minnie led her off, Stitch looked at Mickey and both nodded to each other. Afterwards Stitch ran off, calling Gurgi “Cousin!” and then saying “Fairy Bug!” when seeing Tinkerbell.
With the last of the heroes through, Mickey closed the door and, taking Merida’s hand, said “C’mon. I think it’s time we tried to figure out this whole Headless Horseman business in peace.”
After Mickey had called for everyone to move to the library where the meeting area had be set up for them, all the heroes moved out through the castle to reach it.
********************
As they made their way through the halls, no one noticed the one guard standing on duty. His armor seemed far too small given how fat his body was. The only one to notice this and glance back was Max, but he was called away by his father before he could look any further. The knight in question waited until everyone was gone before giving a low bird whistle.
Something from around the corner, very small, hurried through the hallways in almost a flash. Given its size and how quick it was to hide and take cover no one had seen it as it moved on towards the Mater Sorcerer’s study.
********************
Everyone was eventually seated at the large round table in the library, Merida taking the seat next to Mickey that was once used for Master Yen Sid. Even Lilo was offered a seat by Prince Charming for her to use while Stitch stood nearby. Max and Scrooge McDuck stood with Donald and Goofy, both of who were standing behind either Mickey or Minnie along with Daisy.
A moment after everyone was ready Hercules asked “So are we ready to start or what?”
“Not yet.” Mickey added. “We’re still waiting.”
“For who?” Simba asked.
As if to answer a feint glow of blue began to shine into the room. All the heroes looked to see it was coming from the window nearby. All watched as the glowing source became brighter and brighter until, after a few moments, eventually settled. Everyone who’d seen this before knew it was the coming of the stars, the same ones that had indicated their call to the meeting in the first place.
When the light settled they could see the spiritual forms of none other than Master Yen Sid and Ray the firefly and standing between them was the beautiful Blue Fairy.
“See?” Stitch said to Lilo. “Friends.”
She only responding with a little “Wow.”
“Apologies for the delay.” Yen Sid said, his voice sounding like an echo.
Mickey stood and said “None needed, old friend.” Both of them exchanged smiled before everyone bowed to both he and the Blue Fairy, Mickey saying “An honor to see you again, Madame Fairy.”
She smiled and gave a small bow back as well while saying “The honor is always ours, your majesty.”
Ray zipped over towards Naveen and Tiana, saying “Hello, Cher! Good to see you both again. Looking mighty fine as always.”
Both of them exchanged welcomes and such before Mickey said “Alright, everyone. I know it’s good to see you all again after so long a wait but it’s time we talked about why we’re all here.”
“You mean about this ‘Headless Horseman’ we’ve been told about?” Adam asked.
“Exactly.” Mickey began. “Not only did he manage to get to another world, but he used the portal spell as well.”
“How?” Jasmine asked. “I thought it drains you to use that spell.”
“That is if you have any life-force to be drained.” Yen Sid commented as he and the Blue Fairy stood near the heroes. “But then the Horseman is not in any sense of the world ‘alive’ now is he?”
Merida commented “Wish I’d have known that sooner before wasting my arrows on him.”
“But I don’t remember any Horseman during the war.” Cinderella said. “So how would he have even known about the portal spell in the first place?”
Everyone began murmuring among themselves for a bit, realizing a good point was made, before the Blue Fairy was the one to say “Perhaps he is not working on his own. Maybe another pulls at the Horseman’s strings.”
“You think so?” Minnie asked her.
Yen Sid spoke up for both himself and the others with “We have tried tracking the Horseman after we were made aware of him. However, much to our surprise, we could not locate him in any of the Outer Worlds.”
There was more murmuring, mainly out of surprise, before Taran said “But you’re some of the strongest Alpha Beings out there. How can he hide from you?”
“In most cases, there is only one possibility.” Yen Sid declared. “If the Horseman is indeed working under the orders of someone else, then they must be a truly powerful Alpha Being themselves.”
********************
In the kitchens of the castle, while Clarabelle Cow was helping prepare refreshments for the important guests that had arrived, one servant was watching as a tray had been prepared for the prisoner Pete.
Even though he was a prisoner did not mean they did not give him a decent meal when needed but once the tray was taken away by a guard no one noticed as the servant slipped her way out and followed. Eventually, once the guard had turned a corner she rushed over and knocked him out with a quick blow to the head.
Picking up the tray in time and moving the guard out of sight she made her way towards the overweight knight who was waiting for her. Both nodded to each other before moving off, towards the dungeon.
********************
“Could it be Chernabog?” Prince Erik asked. “I mean he IS one of the most powerful beings out there.”
“Yeah.” Donald added. “And the Horned King took over his body once. Remember?”
Yen Sid however retorted with “As reasonable as it would be to assume it is Chernabog, I rather doubt it. If you recall, he had stated how he was not so willing to effect the balance of the worlds as the Horned King was doing. And stealing wisps and attacking princess in another world can certainly have effects in some way or another.”
“Even so.” Mickey began. “I think we should have a talk with the lord of Bald Mountain.”
“Hang on.” Tiana spoke up. “Suppose it’s not him. Then who could it be? Not like any of the other bad guys could use that spell.”
“Hades did.” Hercules pointed out. “That’s how we sent him back into the Underworld. So maybe he managed to crawl out of the river Styx and started thinking of his own way to take over the worlds.”
“That is a possibility.” Yen Sid said. “But then, for all we know, it could be someone new.”
Alice, sounding nervous, asked “You mean there could be someone from another world doing it?”
Yen Sid tried to calm her by saying “It is only a possibility, dear Alice. Not a fact as of yet.”
“Are you sure we’re not jumping the gun a little bit?” Naveen asked. “I mean maybe we’re getting paranoid over nothing and this was just a little fluke.”
“You’d call nearly getting my head chopped off a fluke?” Merida asked, giving a slicing motion on her neck as she spoke.
Naveen gave an awkward laugh before Ariel said “Wait. What if the Horned King actually taught somebody the portal trick? You know, in case he failed and wanted someone to carry on after him?”
“That would mean having someone with enough magic to do it.” Scrooge McDuck added.
Taran noted. “And really the only ones who could do it were Hades, Jafar, Ursula maybe, The Shadow Man and Lady Tremaine.”
Aladdin then said “Problem with that is two are dead, two are trapped, and the other one needed a magic wand to use magic.”
“And my wand’s still been with me ever since, dearie.” The Fairy Godmother added while showing it to everyone.
“Hey, talking bird.” Peter Pan asked looking to Iago.
He grumbled and said “The name’s Iago, you tights wearing fly boy.”
“Whatever.” Pan shrugged. “You know if the Horned King ever talked with anyone about this? You know, planned for this sort of thing?”
Iago rolled his eyes and said “You think he’d have told me if he did? All I did was keep an eye on the little blondie over here.” He indicated Alice. “He never told me anything.”
“Guess that leave Anastasia and Le Fou out as well.” Cinderella commented.
Adam threw up his arms and said “Great. Now there’s no one we can ask.”
Goofy, who’d been thinking to himself most of the time, finally said “Actually, there is someone we could ask.”
Mickey, Donald and the rest of those who lived in the castle looked to Goofy confused. But it soon dawned on them who he’d meant: Pete.
Max was the one who nodded and said “I’ll go get him and bring him hear.”
Mickey nodded before letting the young knight-to-be walk out of the library to fetch the prisoner. Everyone watch as he did while Yen Sid and the Blue Fairy seemed a bit off for some reason.
********************
The little creature had reached the Sorcerer’s Study and, using magic, was able to break the lock and enter with ease.
Once inside it began looking around for something of importance. It knew what it needed and was quick to look everywhere possible for it, starting with the bookshelf and then ending up rifling through the drawers of the large desk. In time it found what it had been sent to find: Master Yen Sid’s book of spells.
With it in hand the creature quickly made its way out of the study and went down towards the dungeons to meet with the others it had infiltrated the castle with.
********************
“Well, I guess as long as we’re waiting.” Belle spoke up. “Maybe we should welcome our newer guests to the table. Especially you, Merida.” When the princess asked Belle said “Well if not for you, we wouldn’t have had the chance to all meet each other again.”
“Here, here.” Eilonwey
Merida blushed a little and gave an awkward laugh before asking “Does that make me part of the club?”
“Are you kidding?” Donald said with a grin.
“Yeah.” Goofy added. “You were part of the club the moment you walked through the Doorway.” Finishing with a hyuck.
Merida looked as others nodded or gave equal gestures of agreement and appreciation. It even came to the point where Genie turned into a British orphan and sang “Consider yourself one of us” before Aladdin quieted him. Merida laughed a little before Minnie spoke up.
“And of course, the few others here.” She indicated Charming, Nala and finally Lilo.
“Actually, that’s something I wanted to ask.” Scrooge McDuck spoke up. “With all due respect, your majesty, are you sure it’s a good idea to be letting others know about the worlds so freely? For all we know it could do more harm than good.”
Mickey looked back to the newer guests and said “I really don’t think we have to worry about Lilo causing any trouble, right?” he asked looking back to her.
She perked up and said “No way. I won’t tell anyone, honest. Cross my heart and hope to be eaten by a vampire monkey wasp.”
While some of the heroes laughed at this, Scrooge said “It’s not you, lass, so much as those in your world who COULD do harm. Or any others for that matter. And what about the heroes of those worlds? You think they’d take to the news they’re world is one of many as easily as we all did?”
“To be fair we were being attacked at the time.” Tiana commented. “I guess we’d have accepted anything at that point.”
Minnie gave a hum before saying “I think Scrooge does have a point. I mean, there are some heroes who might not accepted it so well.”
“That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try, right?” Mickey asked.
Scrooge gave a chuckle and said “Sure. Why not start with the ape man, Tarzan? If he doesn’t try sticking you with a spear first after taking one look at you. Or maybe the world where that woman who can create ice with her hands tries to freeze you?” There were mixed reactions after that before McDuck finished with “I’m only saying we need to be more careful about this.”
Mickey thought about this before looking and asking “Master Yen Sid, what do you….?” He stopped when he realized both Yen Sid and the Blue fairy were looking towards the doorway leading out of the library. “Is anything wrong?”
“Only that we’ve noticed Master Max has not returned.” Yen Sid stated with a bit of a grim tone.
********************
In the dungeon Pete perked up as he heard someone approaching.
Seeing the servant arrive with the tray he said “Well it’s about time. I’ve been starving all day.”
“Oh don’t worry.” She said, coming closer into the light for Pete to see. “This will be the last meal you’ll be having in this cell.”
By the time she finished Pete could see this woman for himself and, shocked as ever, exclaimed “Peg!?!”
It was true. The servant was in fact Pete’s wife, peg. If it wasn’t that red hair that gave it away at first it was the one golden earring she had on. She gave a smirk as she handed the tray to him through the bars, practically shoving it into his chest.
“Hello, honey.” She said, as she began to remove the servant clothing she had on while revealing a more pirate-esc outfit underneath.
Pete stammered “H-H-How did you get here?”
She waved the question off and said “Later, Petey-Pie. First thing’s first: busting you out of here.”
Pete watched as she examined the bars of the cell for a moment while saying “But what happened to you? I didn’t hear from you after I was thrown in here.”
“Oh, you know how it is sometimes.” She said, still examining. “While you were gone I had to do most of the hard work. A robbery here, a bit of smuggling there. Some nice actives for the kids, you know.”
“The kids?” Pete asked. “You mean you brought them along? What’s this all about? Why you springing me all a sudden?”
Peg finally stopped and said “Because, honey, we’ve got ourselves a new employer.”
Using her right hand she aimed at the lock to the cell and, in a flash, used a bolt of magic to blast it off. She then did the same thing to other points on the bars until it all fell down in a perfect circle for Pete to fit through. He had backed up and cringed as she’d fired before seeing for himself what she’d done.
Seeing he was free Pete grinned before walking out, grabbing his wife, and saying “I love when you do that, Peg.” Before both shared a kiss.
********************
Max, after giving a small flirting glance to some of the prettier servants he'd passed by, had reached the doorway leading down to the dungeons when he was stopped by the overweight guard he’d seen before.
Seeing the guard blocking his path he said “Hey! What do you think you’re doing?”
The guard cleared his throat before speaking in a deep voice, saying “Sorry, sir. But none are aloud through here. The dungeon is being…uh….cleaned and polished! Yah, that’s it.”
Hearing that voice Max said “Wait a minute…” before lifting the guard’s helmet. Seeing who it was Max gave a surprised “P.J.!?!”
Pete’s one and only son gave an awkward laugh before saying “H-Hey, old buddy. How you been?”
Max, still shocked, began to ask “PJ, what are you do-UGH!”
Max received a hard blow to the back of the head by someone from behind. He fell to the ground with a loud clanging thud while P.J. looked at who’d done it: the one who’d stolen the magic book from the study.
“Pistol!” PJ said to his little sister. “Why’d you have to do that for?”
The little nine year old girl, dressed in dark clothing, looked up at her brother and said “What? I had to think of something. Otherwise he’d have blown our cover. Just thinking on my toes, like mommy always says.” Just then they heard sounds of people approaching, making her hurry past PJ and say “C’mon. Hurry!”
PJ looked back to Max, he still knocked out, and gave a quick “Sorry, Max.” before running into the dungeon after his sister.
By the time the group arrived, consisting of Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Scrooge, Taran, Hercules and Aladdin arrived, they rushed over to help the unconscious knight.
“Max!” Goofy said, helping his son back to his feet with care. “Are you alright, son? What happened?”
Max groaned and only said “In the dungeon…. PJ….stop them….”
“PJ?” Donald asked before those who knew him realized this was bad.
Mickey hurried everyone, with the exception of Goofy and Max, down into the dungeons straight away.
********************
“Mom! Dad!” Pistol said as she and PJ scurried down towards them. “We got to go!”
Pete, excited to see his kids, said “Pistol!” she jumped into his arms and said “How’s my little creampuff?”
She shoved the book into her father’s chest and said “Save the cutesy stuff for latter, daddy. We got get out of here.”
“Oh right, right.” Pete said, looking around in a panic. “Peg? You got in, how we getting out?”
“Oh don’t worry, Peteums.” She said, checking her watch. “It’s all timed perfectly. It should be here in four…three…” Before she could finish a portal appeared right behind the entire Pete family. “Whoops. Off by a few seconds.”
Just then they heard as the group of heroes came down the stairs. By the time they’d reached the bottom it was already too late for any of them.
“Pete’s Family?!?” Mickey said in surprise.
Peg gave a small wave, saying “Hello, Mickey. Love to stay and chat, but we’re late for a family reunion.”
Scrooge, seeing the book of spells in Pete’s hand, gave a gasp before saying “No! Not the book! Give it back!”
With that Peg and PJ jumped through the portal first. Pistol jumped from her dad’s arms and went through next. Just as the heroes tried to run after him before he could escape, Pete was already making his way through.
He looked back and gave a triumphant “So long, suckers!” while laughing before exiting fully through the portal.
They heroes were too late. The portal closed and Pete, along with his entire family, managed to escape.
Knowing this, and knowing that they’d stolen the book of Yen Sid’s spells, Scrooge gave a worried “Oh this isn’t good. Not good at all!” He grabbed Mickey and said “You realize they’ve got one of the most dangerous books in all the worlds now?”
Mickey pushed Scrooge back before saying “If they took the book, there’s no telling what they’ll do.”
“You mean them?” Taran asked “Or whoever they’re working for?”
This made all the heroes look to each other with a sudden darkened tone. They now knew that whoever was behind this grand plot going on had just attained a powerful ace up their sleeves.
********************
Pete followed his family as they walked through the secret base of the one who’d summoned them.
The place seemed like a grand hall of a mansion, given that it was large a spacious. While it was elegant in design it was also old and dark, looking as if no one had lived in it for a while. Pete only looked around, still carrying the book of spells in his arms, as he wondered who owned this place.
They finally came to the end where, to Pete’s shock, the Headless Horseman was waiting. He stood at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the throne, his arms crossed, and waited until they all approached.
“So you must be the man in charge, huh?” Pete asked the Horseman. “Well let me tell you something, buddy, I don’t think I’m ready to go around taking orders again. Especially from a guy with no head. Got that, nothing-for-brains?”
Peg leaned over and said “Honey, that’s not the one.”
Pete, realizing this, gave an awkward laugh and said “By that whole nothing-for-brains thing, it was just a joked. Get it? Hehe.” The Horseman only snatched the book from Pete before walking up the steps. “So if you ain’t in charge, then who is?”
Suddenly from the throne came a raspy voice saying “That would be me.”
Pete looked up to see who was sitting at the throne. It was, to his surprise, someone he’d never seen r heard of. The man, or at least what he assumed was a man, was dressed in a long hooded robe, covering his entire body except for his hands. His head was covered by the hood, only exposing his chin and the two glowing red eyes underneath. He seemed human yet given the look of his chin and hands he must’ve been a very old one.
Once the book was handed to him, Pete said “And just who the heck are you anyways? And what’s the idea of bringing my family into this?”
The man stood and said “Your family, along with yourself and the Horseman, are to be my means of helping to accomplish what you failed to do so before.”
“And what’s that?”
He grinned and said “Take over all the worlds. And once they’re conquered, everyone will fear the name of me: the Master of Worlds!”

The story's still excellent. Nice to see Pete's family, but I notice two odd details in this chapter. 1° Peg "looking at her watch" ? They've got watches in this world ? How ? Just how advanced is their technology ? 2° How does Trudy (Pete's girlfriend from the comics) fit into this ?

Didn't really think on the watch thing. Just thought it was funny. And idk about Trudy from the comics, I only ever watched the show.

Ah, okay so he's an original character. That explains it. And for the record I never heard of Pete having a family until I started reading End of the Worlds. Also why is the Prince now turned back into the Beast? Is the same sort of ripples through the worlds going on here again? Also why is Ariel and Eric here? Shouldn't they be watching Melody?

Adam isn't a beast. Not sure where you read that but he's back to normal. And Ariel and Eric are present because they're part of the group. Obviously they have servants and all to watch out for Melody.

The paragraph where all of the characters are coming out. I guess when I read it it sounded in my head that the Prince had turned back into the Beast.

Original characters are good, as long as they are few and sparse. And it's cool to add Pete's family, though I feel bad for PJ.

Oh yeah, the Master of Worlds is the only OC for this story. Don't worry though, you'll see where his story goes ^^.

So, are you still going to have the Dark World and the concept of Mary Poppins, Elsa, and the Woodcarver Witch as Alpha Beings from the earlier draft?

Well I say yes in terms of the Alpha Beings. In terms of the dark world I'd rather not say just yet. I don't want to give too much away ^^

Well, I for one would like to say it is good that you changed the fate of Beast's world so that it survived in this version rather than getting destroyed by the Dark World in the original draft. Though as for villains that could cause trouble for the worlds, I'd say that the ones you could have used as the true identity of the Master of Worlds are:
Emperor Palpatine from the now Disney-owned Star Wars saga, the Archmage from Gargoyles, Master Xehanort, Ansem Seeker of Darkness, and/or Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts, or maybe the disguised ghost of the Horned King.

As good as suggestions those all are for villains, I didn't want to go with Star Wars since I feel it should be kept separate from any Disney continuity; except if it's the Star Wars weekend at Disney Land XD. Same thing for Gargoyles which, as much as I love the show, I couldn't really see fit to add with this story's continuity. The kingdom hearts characters should strictly be Kingdom hearts, and I said before that this story only takes some inspiration but isn't trying to be like Kingdom hearts. And the idea of the Horned King's ghosts seems a bit lame, sort of saying he can't die which should never be the case with any good villains.

All right, I can understand that, but I still think the Master of Worlds looks like an OC-expy of Emperor Palpatine...that is, until the point in the story comes where his true identity is revealed and I'm proven wrong, right?
